It would be nice if Rock mentored them. Can't see them getting cut now that they helped Rock.

Tbh, I was surprised that Hawkins was still being kept around to begin with, as he hasn't really made any great strides forward unlike Ryder since the Edgeheads gimmick.

I think it might actually be 60 bucks. Which is pretty steep.

Austin is WM or bust. Also what's everyone's most anticipated match this Sunday? For me it's Jericho/Punk.

I'm equally excited for Rock/Cena, Punk/Jericho and Bryan/Sheamus, and hopefully for a possible appearance by Brock Lesnar at some point... :oldrazz: :woot:

I think Sheamus/Bryan won't steal the show, but if given enough time will cement themselves as top stars. I'm looking forward to what Ziggler does in the Tag match. I feel he's going to do something to differentiate from everyone else in the match and stand out.

ok i know i say this every year but dammint i want vince to start a uk based wing for the hall of fame guys like big daddy, Tosh Togo, billy two rivers, Mick McManus, Giant Haystacks and Kendo Nagasaki. loves how a good load of people in here will have never heard of them

never gonna happen but it would be sweet as hell

crazy, but i'm looking forward to all the matches (yes even the diva match)

but if i had to pick my most anticipated
Taker Vs hhh III - Politics aside, those two guys in a hell in a cell is a dream match, shawn (one of my all time favourites) being the ref is just the icing on the cake

jericho vs Punk - two of my favourites going one on one for the wwe championship, awesome

rock vs cena - certainly got my interest back the last few weeks, the build up has been great

Agreed. Most definitely on Brock.

I'm psyched for every match except for Kane vs Orton, though it should be a technically ok match, and the potty break.

WM 29 will be the tenth anniversary of Austins last match so it seems fitting for that to be where he comes back...if he does come back. Damn it doesn't seem that long.

I'm looking forward to all three main matches but Punk vs Jericho is probably THE one for me. I've got a feeling both these guys have a strong desire to steal the show. They've both shown they can do capture the fanbases attention like few others when they are given the freedom (Punk vs Cena and Jericho vs Michaels feuds).

Even if its not the marquee match it could be the Savage vs Steamboat of WM28.

IF anybody should feel a kinship to Joe Hennig it should be the Rock. Both third generation and I'm sure Rock respects his dad, Curt Hennig.

Granted Joe doesn't seem to have the charisma of Perfect or Rock but he could carve a place for himself in WWE if he works at it.

I agree 100%

Mick Mcmanus and Kendo Nagasaki? Come on WWE, your slippin.

If there going with a HBK/HHH match then that can be the feature match for the 25th anniversary of Summerslam.

Taker should face Lesnar at next years WM and WM 30 it can be Taker vs. Cena. Cena can take on Punk at next years WM, with Punk taking on Austin at WM 30.

Nah, that match HAS to be at 'Mania.

Why?

Because a match of that prestige (Shawn coming out of retirement, HHH vs Shawn, etc) deserves mania and the fact that it would likely be Hunter's retirement match.

Guys...would they really ruin Cena/Rock with having Lesnar interfere? Shouldn't we get a clean finish in the main event? We've been longing an entire year for this match; would the WWE officials really do that?

Now, I'd be ecstatic to see Brock vs Rock at SummerSlam, but I want to see a clean finish on April 1st.

TBH, I want Austin vs Lesnar, as well as, Punk vs 'Taker (retirement match) and Cena/Rock II at WM29.

At WM30, Cena vs Punk.

Have Cena lose this year at Mania under curious circumstances and setup a rematch but then win next year.

Have Punk retire Undertaker and end the streak next year and set up an epic Cena vs Punk match at Wrestlemania 30.

I don't see what's stupid about it, if you are Orton for instance how would you feel going into this Mania? you break your back all year long as one of the companies top stars and come game night you're relegated to filler. Punk's points were almost all about Rock's attitude backstage apart from him feeling there is disrespect when people give Rock the entire credit for last years buyrate. Cena's points about feeling Rock is a phony have merit, he's never complained about him coming back for the match.

I'm sorry, but they all sound like a bunch of whiny little girls, IMO. If there's a problem with the Rock, be a man and take it up with the Rock, something I wholly give Cena credit for. Orton should not blame The Rock for being in a filler match, and if he does, management building up Sheamus is just as responsible for Orton being in a filler spot as the Rock is, so he should be *****ing about them too. Not to mention, Rock being in the ME would make more money than Orton, so he really just comes off as sipping haterade, much like he did when he tried to say his match with Kane has the crowd more excited than the Sheamus/Bryan bout.

In the case of Punk, he really shouldn't hold it against rock for the things other people credit the Rock with, and once more, if he had a personal problem with Rock, he should take it up with The Rock. I remember the recent Taker/Lesnar situation at the MMA fight, and Taker couldve easily *****ed to that MMA interviewer about his problems with Lesnar, instead he simply said "its personal", and left it at that. Cena's the only guy who actually has a point, but even then he just comes off as whiny constantly saying "I'm here, he's not".

WWE is actually considering it, according to insiders. They thought about having Miz interfere because of Rock's interference in the Miz/Cena match last year however, plans have changed and Miz in now in the GM match.

But now, they are considering having Brock appear at the end of the match or in some form during or after the match.

However, nothing is set in stone.

HBK/HHH is something I have NO desire to see. We saw them in every possible match already. It serves no purpose.

The Rock has made few statements about the backstage resentment

This from an interview:

"Of course, a few guys have been very vocal about their unhappiness with me coming back. It doesn’t bother me at all. It just proves that they lack perspective."

“Returning to WWE is an incredible opportunity for me. But much bigger than me, it’s an incredible opportunity for the business and, at the end of the day, all we want to do is elevate WWE to new heights never seen before and make the fans happy. For example, when Hulk Hogan returned to WWE, I loved it, because I knew it was going to be incredible for the business. We made history together and made millions and millions of fans happy.
“Always remember that the ones who were vocal and disapproving about me coming back—and we all know who the two are—are the ones who are most insecure and jealous. Maybe one day they’ll smarten up and understand the greater perspective.”

and then there was this somewhat infamous Twitter exchange with a fan:

@The Rock- haters claim ur keeping them from wrestling @ Mania & they cant get over. Y couldnt they get over when u were gone? #Imjustsayin'

@da_other_man The ones who are complaining are the ones who will never get over anyway, Too busy complaining.

****, so expensive...

Exactly. It's even more expensive on other Cable services.

The ridiculously high PPV prices for WWE events are why US fans ARE NOT buying PPVs, especially when there is one every 3 weeks in some stretches of the year.

Yet, WWE tries to blame the wrestlers, like they did Miz last year (Why he isn't involved in Mania in a big way and why he had a 2 months lose streak), for the horrid buyrates they have.

Agreed. I could only deal with it if it was HHH's retirement match.

Otherwise, I don't want it.
