My prediction for the Raw Money In The Bank Ladder Match is Daniel Bryan.

With the awesome run Daniel Bryan has been having lately, he deserves to be in the title picture, Money in the Bank winner or not. The guy has been on fire lately.

So looks like we're heading for Punk vs Lesnar with Heyman. That look on Punk's face says he knows Heyman was lying. Did to me, anyways! Perhaps Lesnar beats Punk first time, with Heyman distracting/causing Punk to lose. Then there's either a second match Punk wins, and if they're going to drag it out, a third that Punk wins. By this time the WWE title may belong to Daniel Bryan, so when Punk finally goes for the title it's against him, not Cena.

I hope he wins. The guys push started over a year ago and has been booked greatly. Slowly, but surely. Now he's on fire more than ever, won this little feud with Orton and is now the favorite to win the MITB. I want him to win it because he is my favorite superstar on the roster and......I wanna see him cash it in in a match against Cena at Summerslam because I'll be in attendance. :hehe: :)

Ugh, having Heyman help him win will just make Lesnar look bad. A clean win over Punk is best for him.

Stephanie seems like the type of woman that wants everything her own way, and doesn't like to admit it when she's wrong.

Sooo... A woman? :oldrazz:

I still hate how WWE blatantly rips off TNA's voice over intro's and I'm not even that big a fan of TNA.

Is that a TNA thing?

I thought they were ripping off Days of Our Lives.

Sheamus is so directionless it's so sad. So the whole point of this "feud" is because Sheamus is a bully?

Sheamus is booked worse than Cena. :whatever::whatever:

Kaitlyn with the jobber entrance.

I don't know if it's even a jobber entrance anymore. Even people like Daniel Bryan have gotten it recently.

I should hit the head during this segment. Would have been more productive.

Just so you know, the Rock will only be on the cover part time. The rest of the time it will be the titantron with the Rock appearing via satellite.

Still better than a full time cover star :p

Wrestling is a different animal though, putting a guy on the front cover is a good way to show the audience he's seen as important. I'm not saying it's a big deal but it's these little pandering things that are so pointless because if Rock comes back for another 5 shows and a match, he'll draw regardless.

The Rock is important though.

Seeing as the Rock is basically a superstar in the wrestling world and now exceeds its net, the company probably see it as extra promotion and reaching out to a wider audience everytime they use him to promote anything. I don't agree with it, but that seems to be the possible sort of rationale behind their thinking.

Van Petrol pretty much nailed it.

If the attitude era is the theme then they should have had Austin on the front as he is the icon of that era no matter how much WWE try to rewrite history.

It's possible but look at the Raw's he was on, they didn't do anything significant numbers-wise. I think these days most people see him as a movie star and aren't going to go watch WWE just because he's there or buy a $50 game because he's on the box.

Dude, it's no different than NBA 2K14 having LeBron James on the cover. They always put a huge star on the cover.

I think you're making way bigger a deal out of it than it really is.

I thought the interesting thing was that the crowd were actually pretty much listening to what they were saying apart from the big CM Punk and GTS chants.

Talk about a DEAD crowd.

****ing stupid crowd, great promo from Henry, loved the puppets part with hand gestures. :D

Ha. When it's someone like Del Rio, they get "no reaction". When it's Punk or Henry, it's the "stupid crowd", or they were "listening".

:wow::wow:

Chair shot to the head! Think of the children!

First thought I had at that was "fine $$$"

They really need to change the WWE logo. It doesn't fit anymore.

I think they should go with the logo they had for WWE Network awhile back.

Jordan was a much better comparison considering The Rock isn't even an active wrestler any more. I refuse to call 2, 3 matches a year and about 6, 7 appearances a year being an active wrestler.

:wow::wow:

That's because those guys at least some type of crowd reactions in most places while Del Rio usually can't manage to get a reaction other than apathy. It's more about consistency.

Del Rio can't get a reaction. Punk and Henry are able to. Simple as that.

Just watch Raw finally....I loved the main event with Bryan and The Bore Lord especially with Bryan getting the clean victory with that Kendo Lock.

I'd give the whole show a 7/10 due to a fair share of annoying segments that brought my morale down amongst cooler moments that were in the show.

One thing to note about last night's Raw: Brad Maddox is the perfect example of taking up space on the roster.

It was interesting that Heyman talked about walking into Mania in the main event to fight for the WWE title with Heyman at his side, some foreshadowing of Punk vs Brock at Mania for the title?

The Rock is important though.

No he isn't, he's a guy that pops up once a year after being away for 8.

I clearly said it's not a big deal, I was simply replying to the points made by VP and Parker. No one is buying the game because of who is on the cover, certainly not in this economy and information age. So why not use it to promote a guy who actually works for you full time?

We were getting to a point of civility Nell but this feels like trying to push my buttons again, however I'll clarify.

Punk got a huge pop when he came out and a chant when he spoke about his past. When they spoke though the crowd seemed (IMO) to be actually listening as opposed to chanting, you rarely hear an arena as hushed, I mean they were chanting at the right moments like when the GTS chant started up when Heyman asked for Punk to trust him, but before that they were listening to the promo. I called the crowd stupid for what they did during the Henry promo because it was, Mark was cutting a great promo and they were acting like fools yelling "What!?" all of the time, however Del Rio would have took anything a few weeks ago as there was often no reaction when he came out and no response to anything he said.

The following are notes from William Hopkins, who was in North Charleston for WWE Raw tonight.

- The crowd was basically sold out for WWE Raw. The crowd is on the side of Daniel Bryan. The crowd erupted when CM Punk came out. He got the biggest pop of the night.

-AJ Lee got a good reaction from the crowd, even though the match was not that great beforehand.

- John Cena was a little mixed but more pro Cena fans. Uso bros held the crowd favorite. The Shield came out and everyone was hoping for some confrontation but the crowd died after the segment.

After Raw went off the air, John Cena defeated Ryback in a Tables Match. He hit the Attitude Adjustment after about a five minute match.

Three matches were announced on WWE Raw for Money in the Bank on July 14th, 2013 from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. Below is the official card.

WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs. Mark Henry

World Heavyweight Championship
Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

WWE Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match
CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane vs. Christian vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Rob Van Dam

WWE Tag Team Championship
The Shield (c) vs. The Uso's

Chris Jericho vs. Ryback

Daniel Bryan is soooo winning that MitB match. I can see it coming down to him and RVD, so they can have a little feud before he goes after Cena.

That's definitely possible, but I'd rather have Punk vs RVD. They can further along this program with Punk/Lesnar and Heyman. And Bryan is definitely winning that match. Only logical choice.

My blue case match participants: Sandow, Barrett, Cesaro, Miz, Rey?, Big E, and Kofi if he's cleared. Not sure who else can be in the match.

Remember awhile back when there were reports that Ryder was growing his hair out to be repackaged? Anyone else get the feeling he will become a follower of Bray Wyatt's?

Cody better win SD MITB.

WWE Championship Money in the Bank Ladder

CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane vs. Christian vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Rob Van Dam

Wow, this might be the best MITB match ever. I like Daniel Bryan, but I'm not a fan of repeat winners. Punk was the exception since he was the first one to do it. I would like for Orton or Sheamus to win. Christian would be fu**ing awesome though.

Hmmm, let me think about this.

Paul Heyman needs a main event guy to manage to "replace" CM Punk, a full-time main eventer (not Brock Lesnar then).

Who better then, than the last man to hold the ECW championship? A man who could be next in line to win the WWE championship as well?

And then if Punk wins the red case, then ...

I'll be rooting for Christian as always. As for SD Barrett was supposed to win it last year pre injury, I doubt Cody is even in the match. Sandow seems the most likely and best choice IMO

It's odd how WWE go on about "Be A Star" and not to bully, yet that's all the Divas ever do!

My choice for the blue case would be Cesaro. With Coulter as his manager, the upside on this guy suddenly is a lot more up than it was a few months ago.

He can then hold the blue case for almost a year, so it can be this special weapon he has to even further enhance his character. Cesaro + Coulter + blue case = a wealth in potential storylines over the next 12 months.
