I'm with you a 100% on the Sarita/Gail match. They are the two best workers in the company and that match would be awesome. TNA needs to turn Sarita face and split her from MA. Actually MA needs to be released altogether.

The push Aries has gotten is great and I'm happy for him, but it's surprising they haven't done more with the X-Division given how well they've pushed Aries. They need to hire some new talent for that division.

I don't see how anyone in charge of TNA could look at Garrett and honestly see any upside to him at all. The kid literally has nothing going for him. I mean at least guys like Watts and David Flair could say they were sons of WRESTLERS and try to play off that. Garett is the son of Eric Bischoff. There is no way to spin that as a positive as a wrestler. Like I said, I truly hope the Nashville crowd craps all over Garrett and gives TNA a message that he should not be in the position he's in.

I agree. Being the son of a promoter or executive is worse than being the son of a wrestler. At least the son of a wrestler has to show he has it all on his own. His dad's influence can only go so far. As good as Greg Gagne was he never had the IT like his old man and people always felt Verne was pushing him into a bigger spot than he could carry.

Erik Watts never got over his last name. Ever. All this is probably why Vince J McMahon didn't want Vince K becoming a wrestler. He knew he'd never be judged on his own merits even if he earned it.

The Von Erichs had something special but its rare. They were REALLY good. Better than Bischoff anyway.

Shane McMahon has probably gone farther than most promoters sons but Shane was a great athlete and even then only as part time wrestler. If he'd done it full time he would have gotten a lot more resentment from some people.

A promoters son has to be twice as good and Garrett Bischoff just has nothing going for him. If he REALLY wanted to make it in this business he should have gotten as far from TNA as possible, changed his name, and worked his way up to ROH then try out for WWE. Working for TNA isn't going to get him anywhere even if he was good.

Hardcore Wrestling is a Disgrace to the Beautiful art
Its so cheap and disgusting

I like Hardcore matches when it's not too extreme. Some of these guys go too far and it is disgusting to watch.

Jamie Koeppe supposedly quit modeling , which is a shame because that ass is perfect :hrt:

Some hardcore matches can be really good. It's just most guys today, especially on the independents, go overboard. They also don't let the match breath at all. It's just spot spot spot spot.

@Metallo & Superark, gonna watch Impact shortly and will chime in. :D

The CZW stuff isn't really hardcore, it's ultraviolent and isn't even trying to tell a story, it's just about who can be stupider.

I did some digging and while there are guys like Zandig, Nic Gage, Wifebeater and whole slew of others that fight in jeans and a shirt and couldn't draw a dime, there have been some guys wasted by that style, like Nick Mondo, and more recently Thumbtack Jack; he had a style and presentation that along with being a good athlete could have seen him earn some money........Instead he's retired at 26 with a broken back and sternum.

One thing I did find was the below match, stupid concept aside Mia Yim would be a good addition to the Divas roster and looks like she could work with Kharma.

wwe has gotten alot better now than it was in 2008. theres still some stinkers but its gotten better especially around wrestlemania

How many people besides us actually watch both TNA and WWE?

I was able to find the full episode on youtube and watched it at work (haha yes I work so hard). It was a very good Impact, Wedding and Bischoff stuff aside, along with the illogical segment between Roode/Storm. Aries/Daniels was a lot of fun! Aries is awesome!

Speaking of awesome, it's great to see Jeff Hardy healthy. He has clearly gotten himself in shape and cleaned up his act. It shows not only in his appearance, but in his ring work. I hope he can keep it up and continue turning his life around. When you see a sad sotry like Scott Hall's, it's nice to see a guy like Hardy turn it around.

I actually think WWE as gotten worse

Yeah, I know Yim, she's in The Embassy in ROH. CZW has definitely had some good talent besides Moxley/Ambrose and I would say Adam Cole is one of them.

Brock Lesnar did renew a bit of interest in the product known as WWE.

And we all know what's going to happen when Brock feuds with the Rock....The Rock will make fun of John Laurinaitus, or as the Rock will probably call him "The Billy Carter of Pro Wrestling." Or the Rock will pretend to not know who he is.

I watch TNA sometimes but don't keep up as often. The last impact I watched was Hogan taking the gm spot. I liked the family interviews talking about Storm and Rhoodes friendship but your assessment of the last impact show doesn't sound too promising.

It's good to see Hardy remaining healthy

A lot of the younger guys do that. It's no good for storytelling if they don't sell the moves. Matt Hardy say she's not to proud of the first TLC match because they were running on all cylinders the entire time

I'll watch TNA sometimes. I probably won't start watching it again full time until Hulk Hogan leaves TNA and never comes back. And he takes the Bischoffs (both of them) with him out the door.

TNA is better off without them.

I watch TNA but don't really talk about it that much. I should post about it more.

Apparently, the WWE did well in Russia. Curious to see how they do in Brazil next month. I am very skeptical, but we'll see.

Because of my schedule, I had to do a lot of backtracking of the TNA shows via youtube. The shows have gotten better. They are putting on a better product than WWE at the moment.

The last Impact wasn't bad. Only a few segments were bad.

To his credit, Hogan really isn't dominating the show. I wouldn't expect Hogan to be gone from TNA for at least a couple of years

I saw parts of it, like the tail end of Bubba vs AJ. Bubba's become a good singles' wrestler, which is what I wish WWE had let him be ten years ago. He was always better than D-Von.

I caught Roode's entrance with the security, I thought it was his entourage. The man looks golden. I might have to backtrack to see what he's done as champion.

WWE has its ups and downs. I think Smackdown's best year was 2009. Raw's last best was last summer.

I don't know what to think now.

I'm the same way!

I could easily see the WWE doing extremely well in Mexico, as they did last year. They have done extremely well in visits to Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Panama and Puerto Rico, but I don't know about Brazil. To me it's not whether they know anything about the WWE or pro wrestling, it's whether or not the Brazilians care enough about the WWE or pro wrestling at all for it to be a success.
