Well back in the early 90's they did an angle where there were two Undertakers..wasn't the second Undertaker Glenn Jacobs...who is also Kane and was also Isaac Yankem? Or was the other Undertaker a different guy. I just can't remember now for some reason.

That was Prime Time Brian Lee.

Great to see Kane back with mask, but I have to say the outfit looks terrible.

It was 1994 and the fake Undertaker was Brian Lee, best known for his run in ECW.

Glen "Kane" Jacobs played the fake Diesel a few years later.

A few years ago Luke Gallows aka Festus played a fake Kane.

I got my ways. :o

:funny:

That was my first thought as well. Very Vaderish.

They need to keep it up, not enough of the entrances these days have any showmanship.

I'm STILL not sure which guy it was years ago when somebody showed up in a Taker robe and Kane mask on Raw and got thrown into the back of that hearst.

That was the last period I recall them looking somewhat alike to the point you could be left wondering under the right circumstances.

Yes! That's right! I couldn't think of his name. I knew it was Brian. Just couldn't remember his last name. I mainly remember him in ECW and then didn't he come back to WWE and he was in the tag team DOA? The biker guys?

I already noticed people on here&other sites that are convinced it was Taker or another guy,I remember fans speculating that mask-less Kane was not original kane and it was cause he gained weight,Now his back in shape and in a mask and people are 100%convinced it's not Glen Jacobs!!!

YEAH! That's right. He was fake Diesel. Haha. I knew he posed as another wrestler. I definitely remember him when he was Isaac Yankem DDS. That was during the period when WWE was packaging wrestlers with really lame gimmicks. :oldrazz:

Thankfully for Glen he resembled the Undertaker and they gave him a decent character.

I saw Taker in his eye:wow:

Just saw the trailer for GI Joe Retaliation and the Rock is the focal point of the movie. That may or may not be a good thing.

I think Channing Tatum's character is dead, which is always good, seeing a character played by Channing die. Too bad his acting career won't die. He's like the John Cena of Acting.

Yes. He also had a short run in TNA in 2002.

Absolutely. Even the guys who have traditionally had flashy entrances--like Orton--have dropped them. It seems like Unstoppable H in the only guy who does his whole routine these days.

I was saying a while back that nobody has pyro or other entrance effects anymore, which I think is hurting the entrance pops. Right now, I think Mark Henry could use some effects (like smoke, maybe?) and CM Punk could use some unique lighting (something unmistakable, like the way the lights alone can identify Unstoppable H's entrance).

The overmask is a cool touch, and his whole entrance there was well done.

He's definitely dropped weight. When he came to the ring, I thought for a second it was actually Nash, haha.

I loved hearing the crowd pop when Kane grabbed Cena. I'm pretty stoked to see where this goes. Kane is a guy who's put his time in at the top, the bottom, the middle--all over the WWE at different times, and I like seeing him get time in the spotlight every couple of years, because he's earned it.

The maskless run ran out of steam, and this looks like a new take on the old gimmick, which I hope will re-energize him. Also, I hope he goes over Cena.

I think this return with the mask will give his character some new life for sure. A shot in the arm.

Yeah it was strange. Usually you could tell it was Taker because his arm tats were covered with sleeves on both arms, unlike the real Kane. Kanes arms were also bigger back then.

But on this occasion the tats were there...but he was built more like Kane...but he was doing Kane and Takers moves.

I might post that video in a minute but I'm honestly not sure if it was Taker half dressed as Kane or Kane half dressed as Taker.

A friend of mine still believes that the original Kane died years ago and was replaced by Glen Jacobs.

It's not his real hair... can't be. He was totally bald and hair takes a long while to grow that long... So says my wife... the cosmetologist. He MAY have extensions in if his real hair is around his ears.

Hasn't he been out over 6 months?

I waited 8 years and 6 months for this moment. My life is now complete. It doesn't get any better than this.

What if I told you Beth and Eve were waiting for you in your bedroom? :p

That's weird because old gimpy came into my mind briefly as well.

To be honest I've not really ever been a fan of Kane, he had a few good years then got stale, then the maskless gimmick started well but got pulled from under him by bad booking. THIS though has me interested again.

I can't see him beating Cena, best he can hope for is not losing.

Sweet. I remember that time frame when they had all those different stables. Like the Nation of Domination, DOA, DX, Hart Foundation, etc. That's when RAW was at the top of it's game and you couldn't wait for the next week to watch.

Vince just needs to stop with that PG mandate. I understand that you want to market to kids and everything but does Vince realize the crap that these kids hear when they are in a live crowd? When I used to go to live events all the time you'd hear all KINDS of crazy crap from drunk idiots.

Not saying they swear constantly and have them flipping the middle finger at people but let some of the wrestlers go out there and be themselves and not have to worry about what they say.

They need to bring mysticism back into wrestling. Like Taker and Kane, they bring the superhero/villain-isqu in wrestling like no one else. They have back stories in their storylines.

I agree, everyone is so generic these days.

We can wash and repeat that rumor with the fake Ultimate Warrior. Some similarities with the two rumors. I remember when when Matt Bourne got replaced as Doink and when Dale Torborg replaced Brian Adams as The Demon in WCW. And neither one of them died :funny:

Agreed; hell when I was younger, I had a bigger sense of respect for the wrestlers that were able to duke it out toe to toe with those larger than life characters because the way that the WWE had presented them (Kane, Makind, Undertaker)...it was like...you'd have to be someone pretty badass and great to have gone into the ring with them and come out in one piece.

Trailer for the Rock's new movie for those that are not fans of GI Joe:
