Funny how two days ago, Darren Young was basically a joke, and now we're talking about him getting a big push because he came out.
That's the way WWE works sometimes. If you can get some mainstream publicity you'll get a push. WWE has a partnership with GLADD, so this probably made them very happy as well.
GLAAD is full of damn IWC smarks. They spent all day today tweeting about how much gayer the wrestlers are in Japan.

Lol, the irony is not lost upon me either.
That stated, this is a strange industry. Look at the character The Rock used to play when he first entered the WWE as a "blue chip prospect." Or Stunning Steve Austin. Look at all the crazy characters Dolph Ziggler used to play not too long ago.
Jarrett....? Why Jarrett specifically?
He's not perfect but he doesnt treat the X-Division, Tag and Knockouts like an afterthought. He just needs to never hire Vince Russo again.
And keep himself off TV.
Yeah....That too. Id recommend adding Paul Heyman or Gabe Sapolsky to collaborate with Lagana and co to make something unique if they werent trying to free up money.
Those guys all went through massive character overhauls and used their charisma to get over on wwe programming. Darren told a tabloid reporter that he is gay at an airport. Not quite the same leap.

O'Neil, Langston, Young, and Otunga all have the "IT" factor.
We already know Young is getting a push. His publicity will be rewarded handsomely. Otunga just never had a good gimmick but I always liked him. Him being Mr. Hudson also helps. If the WWE doesn't botch Langston, he'll be in a great position by the end of the year. And I hope the ball isn't dropped on O'Neil when they do whatever it is they decide with Young.

Russo and the possibility of Impact becoming the Jeff Jarrett show again are my only real issues with Jarrett running creative.I mean TNA goes through this cycle of one overbearing presence after another; Jarrett, Angle and Karen, and Hogan and Bischoff.
-WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus announced via her official website that her baby is due next month, and that it will be a baby boy. She also noted that she will be naming the child "Maximum," or "Max" for short. For more, including photos from her baby shower, visit TrishStratus.com.

I could see him having roughly the status of Jake the Snake during his 1991-92 phase, or as Roddy Piper was to Hogan.
I just realized you picked Rock vs Brock. Dang, can't pick that one.
WWF Title: John Cena vs CM Punk, Triple H as guest referee - Despite the ending, I really liked this match and it might be my favorite in their series, as Cena went out of the box the most here, stepping his game up against Punk. Technical skill displayed by both men, really good near falls, and the crowd was just eating it up.
World Title: Randy Orton vs Christian - This was a great blow off to their feud, and Orton catching Christian with RKO on the steps was great.
Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho: 2 out of 3 Falls - Chopfest! This match was fast, hard hitting and the next step for the feud between the two Chris'. Great selling. Match was nearly flawless.
WWE Tag Title: Un-Americans vs Booker T/Goldust - Not the best tag team match, but an entertaining one during the cool Un-Americans era.
IC title match: Dolph Ziggler vs Rey Mysterio - Next best opener after Mysterio/Angle. Rey was good here, but the star was Ziggler. This is the match that showcased the potential this man had. He was the heel and still getting applause for his work.
Hardcore Championship: Shane McMahon vs Steve Blackman - Definitely a product of 2000. You'll never see anything like this again. This was where Blackman was at his best, and Shane was crazy.
Edge vs Eddie Guerrero - Don't know how many people remember this match, but it was excellent. Eddie working the arm majority of the match Edge selling it, even when hitting the spear.
I couldn't think of a 7th, due to the rules and matches already taken
I don't want Hogan getting fired right now.
If he gets fired now, this close to WrestleMania 30, he'll be right back on WWE tv. And then we'll HAVE to watch him. Probably Brooke too.
If he's back in the WWE on a Legends deal and not the center of attention like he was in TNA then it wouldn't bother me that much.
