That was one hell of a vertical leap by Cena for a man who supposedly took a beating that was like no other last night

Some of his getups were WTF?! worthy, but he did have some awesome gear at times. I find it great to see Punk in a tribute to Savage with those trunks.

I liked it when Savage switched to the jacket and cowboy hat. The black and white and blue and white ones were awesome.

Fun little main event, and not a bad Raw overall IMO.

I'm awful then...I honestly thought he was only NWO and NWO wolfpac in WCW:doh:

He was in WCW from late 94, he didn't join the NWO until Febuary of 97.

Savages gear looked like the Las Vegas strip on acid....and he pulled that sh** off like nobody else could.

Haha! Well said sir! :D

You didn't know. The arena spotlights recharge Cena like the yellow sun can recharge Superman's powers. :awesome:

What a whacky night.

R-Truth is nuts.
Kharma breaks down in the middle of the ring.
Kane turned into a puppy a the sight of Big Show being hurt.
Those Nexus background characters won belts.
Riley flipped out.

I loved seeing Punk in the Macho Man colors. Great tights, Now I want those as alternate tights in the new SVR game.

I figured as much. I always wondered how he tucked his cape under those Barney colored shirts.

He has super recovery powers like Wolverine.

Punk because of little stuff like this makes me like him even more. He's my favorite on the roster now.Besides him I really only care about a handful of guys.

I thought it was kids cheering for him while looking like his mini me's.

It was interesting seeing Punk take the pin. Seemed like they protected Truth a bit, so he doesn't get his comeuppance just yet at the hands of a face, keeping him a strong heel knowing Punk can take the loss and lose n heat.

That was a nice tribute. RIP Macho Man, the Madness will never die!

the whole Kharma thing was weird. However, I'll wait and see what the rumors say about this storyline. If the rumors say that she herself came up with this idea, then it would be hard to blame the WWE.

It's like the Chris Jericho storyline during his last few months in the WWE where he lost a lot. Many people in the IWC (I don't know about here) blamed the WWE for not pushing Jericho and making him lose all of the time, but Jericho said in one of his post-WWE interviews that was all his idea.

Remember who's running the show behind the scenes now......Triple H. There are reports that state that the atmosphere backstage is more relaxed with him in charge. Who knows, maybe as part of the new talent initiative, he gives the new signees to the main roster some creative control.

So I am going to hold off on my criticism of the Kharma thing until it ends. I've noticed that when a new storyline starts, people on here (myself included) jump to conclusions too early. We expect better from the WWE, but what do you expect from the WWE when there isn't any competition?

This could be an interesting storyline. Let's wait and see what happens in the weeks ahead. It's like in pro sports. A perfect example of this is in the drafts, particularly the NBA and NFL. In both drafts, the fans of those sports teams form conclusions too early. It takes a few years to determine whether those conclusions are true or not. In the WWE, it takes weeks.

Or at least that'll be the approach I am going to take with this storyline anyways.

We do the same with movies.....we see production photos and a trailer and think "this sucks" or "this is a good movie" even before the movie comes out.

That Macho Man Tribute on RAW tonight was very touching. It definitely got to me!

Man what horrible booking when it came to Kharma/Kong tonight!

If there is one thing we can give the WWE much praise for its their tribute videos. Whenever they do one, it's well done. They also do an excellent job at those career retrospective videos, like the recent one they did with Edge. Those are top notch, and so are the music choices.

I am hoping for another great career retrospective WWE video when Rey calls it quits. In fact, Rey's retirement video will be a great job by the WWE.

I wanted to re-watch the tribute video for Savage but WWE already replaced the Coldplay track from the video. It's still a great video but now it's not as emotional for me.

Yeah, I went to the WWE website to watch it since I only caught the last 30 seconds, but now there's a video with a different song.

Stone Cold Steve Austin this Friday on Jimmy Fallon, otherwise known as "Jay Leno's Next Victim"

That sucks , i was really looking forward watching that again tonight. A lot of great tributes out there though. WWEs' production team always makes great ones though
