I hope Bryan wins tonight, hopefully in a clean fashion.

then I hope he gets a strong, solid title run.

would be nice if Orton cashes in tonight, but then Bryan beats him, too.

as for Punk, he almost has to win tonight, unless they want to continue this feud......

Bryan will win in screwy fashion with Hunter being there whether its bad officiating or the heel turn Triple H fans have been begging for since 2009.

As for Punk Vs. Lesnar, its really hard to call this. On one hand, Brock is the draw and should be kept looking strong for Wrestlemania 30 where he will hopefully do battle with Rock one more time.

But then again, Punk got screwed at MITB and has been getting his ass handed to him. He also never got that big win as he failed to defeat HHH, Undertaker, and Rock. Brock also won his last match. I think they will throw Punk a bone tonight.

If this HHH vs. Vince feud is going to be anything, Haitch needs to be the face in it. McMahon is way better as a heel, and I'd prefer to see McMahon grow crazier as WMXXX nears, making more batcrap crazy calls and whatnot. That's just me though.

Ok then, get Hogan and Austin's number lol. ;)

yeah Austin is fantastic, another one of my favs - lets face it those 3 are undoubtedly the biggest superstars of all time - but I'd say Rocky was the best out of the 3 in the ring anyway (98-02 Rocky that is)

I feel you're right about Bryan/Cena. I'm hoping for a clean win, but with HHH and Orton involved I don't see that happening.

Punk vs Lesnar is tough to call indeed. I gotta go with Brock winning since his monster aura needs to be strengthened. Punk loses but puts up a valiant effort.

I said superstar not wrestler...

was never actually a huge fan of Michaels mic work - plus his overselling in ridiculous fashion of moves to try and put down people he didnt wanna take a loss to irritated me before I even knew about the backstage politics surrounding it

This.

This needs to be brought back for WrestleMania XXX.

I'm really tempted to actually order Summerslam tonight,I haven't been this excited&interested in a WWE ppv in years,I usually watch ppvs by"different means"But I really want to see this in complete HD and I can even DVR it

im tempted too.... can you legally buy and stream them online in the uk?

I'm starting to wonder if there's a chance the ME for WMXXX could be a return match between Punk and Lesnar for the WWE title.

I'm really hoping Brock wins clean tonight then Punk gets a rematch and beats him clean at Survivor Series

How would you ideally book that? I'd say give Lesnar the clean win tonight, then have Punk go on to win WWE title between now and Rumble. Brock is a surprise Rumble entry and wins. Book Punk as the underdog champ looking for revenge. He beats Lesnar clean. Punk's WM Moment.

To each their own. Though I have to ask how can you criticize Michaels' overselling and be a fan of the Rock who was a true overseller himself back in the day.

Shawn's my favorite wrestler of all time. He's one of the best on the microphone and showed a lot of range. He could be funny, serious, and knew how to sell an angle. The man's one of the best with his facial expressions. He could wrestle any type of match be it fast-paced, slow-paced, a technical piece, or a brawl. And he was great at carrying and helping wrestlers step up their game in the ring. A lot of wrestlers had their best matches with him. His backstage politics didn't take away from what he could deliver.

Leaving to the Staples Center in a couple of hours. Very excited for the show given the build and the card is the best they've put out all year. If all goes right, this could easily be WWE's SOTY. Then again, that won't be very hard seeing as they haven't really set the bar that high this year. :hehe:

It would be a great story and a great main event (they could play up the wrestling vs. MMA story of it), but there's no way John Cena isn't in THE main event of Wrestlemania XXX.

If it's going to be CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title (a match that would steal the show), it'll go on third to last with John Cena vs. ________ as the "real" main event.

I think tonight HHH turns heel and starts this McMahon/HHH angle for Wrestlemania (although in my opinion people would rather boo Vince I can see them using HHH as the heel so Vince can grab Rock/Stone Cold/Batista/Part Timer as an avatar).

The Rock oversold, but consistently and to make others look better, Michaels when he wanted to would go so far over the top, he'd fall over dramatically stand up walk around with a goofy face and fall over again, to try and make the opponent look bad if he had to lose.... was it against Hogan at Summerslam where he literally flopped around for a whole match? it was ridiculous and actually made wrestling look so stupid in the process, thats the sort of match people who dont like wrestling for being fake cite and think of

I do like Michaels (nowhere near as much as many), just thought that he made himself and the business look bad far too often

its quite funny as I always liked Triple H haha

Any WMXXX main event NOT involving CM Punk is a bad move. When we eventually get there, I'll give my reasons why I think Punk WILL win the Rumble.

The Flair Vs. Sandow interaction at the panel was fantastic.

@ Turambar

I agree, but creative almost always does it ass backwards.

@ The Sage

That's a good point. Like Michaels, Punk usually looks better in defeat.

Lesnar has to win cleanly. It would benefit Punk and further develop the struggle with him and Heyman.

As a huge Bryan fan, I would love to see this. It would make Bryan look very strong.

But I wonder if its a little selfish! That Randy can't beat a guy that's already been in a gruelling championship match. It would make Randy look weak.

Not really. Guy is a multiple time World Champion. He can recover. Plus, if that were to happen, he can still be in the title picture.

Is the symposium uploaded somewhere else? I can't watch more than a few minutes of the twitchtv stream, it keeps screwing up.

Maybe this Cena/Bryan/Orton/HHH/McMahon stuff will cause a controversy leading to a tournament at WM 30 like the one at WM 4.
