Like I said I'm not looking to change anyone's opinion. When someone responds to my posts why don't you assume they are trying to change mine? I don't have a right to respond with my opinion? On a discussion board we discuss things don't we?

What can The Rock really do at Wrestlemania? If he does come out and rock bottom Cena maybe even hit the peoples elbow is that a ''Wrestlemania moment''? Will it have been worth all the hype?
OMG!!!!

It'll probably be pretty predictable. Like you said theres only so much he can do with the way things are set up. A staredown with Cena might be pretty interesting for foreshadowing to what might happen later and Rock could give the Miz the rub.
The biggest thing is what his actions will mean for his future in WWE. If it leads to a match down the road that would be more interesting.
Something happens, to where Cena and Rock go fist to fist, back and forth. An all out brawl! That's what we all want!!!
I wasn't trying to call anyone out, all three of you have just kinda been running in circles with it. Oh well, I'd been out of watching wrestling for a few years and have just recently started DVRing and fast forwarding through alot of Raw. Just seems like they waste so much talent. Miz is no saviour but I feel at least they tried to bring something new to the table, albeit crappily. Here's to hoping they pick it up in the future!
Because whenever I talk about liking the Miz, and why, the responses from you and HR are always "how could you possibly think that? What does he do well? How is he better than the guys that came before him?"
Thats fine. And I can say why I think he sucks right now. Your point?I answered the question. I've told you a thousand times why I love The Miz, and why he's my current favorite in the company, but the response is always "he's average in the ring and doesn't 'tick any boxes' like those that came before him"
The fact that you are on here talking about the same sh** with us makes you just as much a "smark." And you talk about people saying stuff about you but you want to tag us with labels?Well he ticks boxes for me and I don't CARE about "average in the ring" like you do.
With the people in real life I watch wrestling with, and talk wrestling with, nobody sits around talking about how great of a match technician he is, or how well he tells a story in the ring, or how credible someone looks going against their opponent. That's why I say I cannot fathom how y'all "smarks" watch wrestling, cuz it takes all the fun out of it.
Tangent...skewing off into...I feel like I went into a comic book store and gave the wrong superhero as my favorite comic, then got a lecture from the old shop owner about how there's no way so and so could ever beat Batman in a fight, because Batman is x, y, and z better than everyone else.
Okay, that's nice. But I don't like that comic. I like this one.
Uh...who is lecturing you? We're stating our opinions. The same way you state yours whenever you specifically respond to one of my posts. And yet I don't think I'm being lectured even though you feel this need to disagree with anything I say. Thats your right. That's fine if y'all don't want Miz in the main event, I don't want Ziggler in the main event. But everytime I express an opinion different than the norm (I.E. The Miz is a good main event champion), I get lectured about how so and so isn't as good as the people that came before him, or doesn't do this, or doesn't do that. Okay. Cool. You don't like him. I do.

I hope it does lead to a match and that all this hype hasn't just been for a few moments in the ring.
This at the very least needs to lead to some change in Cena. Maybe not a heel turn but some kind of change or development in his character. He keeps going on and on about how he's always here and The Rock isn't but the fans are still on The Rocks side. It took him seconds to have the arena cheering ''cena sucks''.
Indeed. Whenever Cena has a serious challenger, his Superman act gets toned down and becomes more serious. Edge, HBK, Batista, Umaga...all brought out other sides to him. It's another reason why the Cena/Miz feud isn't working, IMO.
Miz or Ziggler can die tomorrow and the landscape of wrestling would not miss them
harsh yes, but its Mania season
Yeah the problem is the Miz. Nobody has been built up well enough this year but people HAVE been built up better...and people ARE better talents than him
The night Punk raised his fist and took over Nexus it looked like a FAR more interesting feud was brewing with Punk/Cena instead of Cena/Miz.
Punk LOOKED like a credible challenger to Cena early on. More so than the Miz has.
Is the Miz a better ALL AROUND TALENT than CM Punk? If the answer is Yes then you're right. If its No then the Miz is part of the problem. Its not just booking but Miz's own natural talents besides his mic work.
Punk can cut a great heel promo without a groan inducing, uninspired, catchphrase like The Miz. And I'll take the GTS or Anaconda Vice over whatever the hell that awful finisher The Miz uses is.
You really could say the same about Del Rio, or anyone who has yet to make a dent in the business.
I think the big question in regard to 'Miz' is whether or not he can maintain his swagger and remain in the Heavyweight Championship picture once he loses it?
Punk can do everything Miz can do but better.

It's being reported that The Rock's return to WWE thus far has worked out much better than both sides ever expected it to. As we first reported in an exclusive you can read if you CLICK HERE, WWE is already anticipating Rock vs John Cena, and it looks as if The Miz will be involved in the mix as well.
While WWE is keeping a very tight lid on what future plans The Rock has with the company, it's being said that The Rock has enjoyed his WWE return so much that he is indeed open to working a few more matches with the company. If Cena vs Rock does not take place first, then the feeling is that Rock vs Miz will be The Rock's first bout, with Cena vs Rock happening at a later date.
As far as Sheamus is concerned, early 'Mania plans called for The Bella Twins to be in his corner and Gail Kim to be in the corner of Daniel Bryan for their match, however it appears as if that idea has been scratched.
WWE originally had planned for The Corre to face Big Show, Kane, Christian and Kofi Kingston in a tag team match at Wrestlemania, but at this time it looks as if Christian will be involved in the World Title match instead. One idea being discussed is to have Christian in Edge's corner for his match against Alberto Del Rio, only to turn on Edge and cost him the title. This would set up three-way matches after Wrestlemania.

Hmmmmm.
So since 'The Rock' is the Guest Host of Wrestlemania and IF he is revealed to be the Anonymous GM, which I expect will happen, then couldn't he pretty much add himself to the Cena vs. Miz match?
No one is as good as Punk...so under your concept everyone in WWE is part of the problem. No, Miz is not as good as Punk...neither is Cena, Edge or Del Rio. Punk is a rare talent, and WWE has done a terrible job of getting guys up to that kind of level.
Besides...The Rock is the centerpiece here...Punk makes no sense being involved with The Rock. The Miz, meanwhile, has crossover appeal and non wrestling fans know who he is. His personality clashes with The Rocks perfectly, whereas Punk...I'm not sure what he'd have against The Rock.
Yes, The Miz seems like a kid wishing he was as good as The Rock...but THAT IS HIS GIMMICK. His whole persona is based around a guy who thinks he's a star, thinks he's the best, but clearly is in over his head.
One day, they'll have a storyline where he is humbled, and he'll turn face, and truly earn the main event spot. At the moment though, that isnt what WWE wants, and it isnt what the storyline calls for.
Except that Punk can't feud with everyone in the fed at all times.
At Wrestlemania, top stars are spread around the card to give every match a bigtime feel. Punk is fighting Randy freaking Orton...that is NOT a demotion or slight to Punk at all. Heck, the main event is the Taker match...maybe Punk should wrestle Taker...or taker AND Cena. Heck, why let Del Rio have a match when Punk is around? And Punk vs Rey would be better than Cody. Punk would really bring some talent to that Snookie match too.
I think the big question in regard to 'Miz' right now is whether or not he can maintain his swagger and remain in the Heavyweight Championship picture once he loses it?
