The WWE Universe Doesn't Know That There's A Wrestling Thread - Part 28

Storyline reasoning might be that the Board of Directors wants Triple H to settle this issue with Punk because they see it as affecting his job performance. They made the match so that they can get it out of his system and put the issue behind them.

It ends with a DQ or a Nash run in, then at the following PPV they can have Nash vs. Punk, followed by Team Punk vs Team HHH (led by Nash) at Survivor Series. Around then is when HHH finally loses it and destroys (and hopefully bloodies) Punk.

In December HHH wins the title, and declares the only way Punk ever gets another title shot is if he wins the Rumble. Punk wins the Rumble, and they have the big blow off at WM with HHH putting over Punk.

I can see all of that happening.

It just feels like they had Nash vs Punk planned and decided against it at the last minute. I know Punk vs HHH will be a better match, but something is off about this.

Watching Dolph vs Orton again. weird to hear King and JR mention Hogan twice. Guess WWE has really softened on that in the last few months.

i think a direction they could go with punk/hhh is that the board feels him and punk beef is affecting his job

and hhh/punk is'nt hatred right now

hhh sees punk is verbally attacking him and his wife to somehow get hhh admit he is behind the controversy when he is not and hhh feels they both need to get this out of their system

Man Ziggler really is good at working with a variety of opponents.

I like the World champ vs US champ part since it reminds me of the old days of the mid card champion being a legit challenger to the world champion. Was watching Patterson vs Backlund the other day on the Cage match dvd and it was awesome.

It's sad what they've done to the titles outside of the World and WWE titles... Although they DO seem to be putting a focus on them. Jericho and Angle instantly spring to mind as two guys that treated the IC Title as one of the most important belts in the WWE.

As it should be treated now, as well as the US Title.

Vince will sign him to a Legends deal... He'll make an appearance here and there. I'd even be ok with him announcing. Can't be any worse than Booker or King/Cole.

I don't think he'd be good on commentary. I can't see him being able to put over other guys, he'd talk about himself the whole time and wouldn't tolerate Vince screaming in his ear like a dick throughout the whole show. Maybe a GM spot. In TNA it doesn't work because he has power and is able to make everything revolve around himself. In WWE that wouldn't be the case as much.

WWE.com currently has a story up about Kevin Nash coming out to the NWO music and how he is acting very similar to his time in 1996 when he invaded WCW and helped form the NWO.

The story goes more in depth and also breaks down a list of WWE superstars who could be possible candidates to be apart of a new NWO.

Granted, it's WrestleZone and ANYTHING the WWE puts on their website these guys act as if it's set in stone and going to happen. I surely, suuuurely hope we don't get another nWo... Punk is already the "outsider."

. There are already a TON of wrestlers worried about their spot given the decision to put both rosters on both TV shows, feeling that this means less TV time for anyone not in the top-tier. With all the recent releases, the excuse given was "restructuring" of the company, and now there's a lot of the current crew freaking out about what they means for them going forward.

I could see him still working as an enforcer for Triple H. I hope they don't write him out just yet.




At this rate , the titles could be unified by the end of the year , but they'll probably hold off until Mania.
