They did in Charmed, too. Piper wakes up and it turns out their grandmother's house is actually a mental health center and her experiences being a witch were just hallucinations created by the grief of losing her sisters.

Reminds me of that one episode of the George Reeves series where he flew into a meteor and lost his memory. Both Lois & Clark and the Superboy TV show basically remade that episode.
