Just got back and it was amazing. To say the least

Just got back from the theater and I must say everything everyone has been saying about this movie is 100% true. The best movie of the summer. NAY, this year is without a doubt TDK.

I have to wait a WEEK to see this. Thing that saddens me most is that I can't participate for any discussion for a week. And then it won't be as awesome... Luckily the movie will probably be always awesome.

Theater patrons miss ending of "Dark Knight"

Moviegoers in a sold-out theater at the Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium 18 IMAX theater left the show shouting a barrage of expletives shortly after 6 a.m. today after technical difficulties ended the movie during the film's climax.

Patrons had stood in line for more than three hours for the predawn showing of the hottest movie of the summer at the theater on Westview Parkway. Technical difficulties occurred during the film's ending scenes. Repairs were unable to be made so audience members were ushered out and offered a free voucher for their troubles.

The start of the theater's 6 a.m. show, with 300 people in line, was delayed.

UPDATE: The theater management has advised patrons the problem was caused by a "power surge" to the projector. Moviegoers have been allowed into the theater, but they have been told the 6 a.m. show will be delayed untll 7:30 a.m. or later. Free popcorn was offered.
