Days of Future Past The Zoe Kravitz/Angel Salvadore Thread

They weren't team mates though. She met those people for a few hours. Your expecting loyalty for people she just met that day. We also don't know much about her. She could just be a very violent girl and thats why she could so easily fight. Most people don't become strippers because they like to take their clothes off and get gawked at by men(though she was in a pretty nice place). Also be African American in the 60's.........

I was really suprised by Zoe in this movie. She did really well. I thought she was cast just because she's beautiful and she has a famous daddy but she did really well here.

I appreciate the Morrison era influence to in this movie.

She reminded me of Santana from Glee.

she was my least favorite thing about the movie.

I thought she was annoying and dorky especially when she was spitting out the fireball/acid thing from her mouth

Her quick turn to "evil" is one of those things in this movie I'm sure they shot and wrote more material on, but didn't make it into the final film.

When everything else in this movie is so well written and developed and they drop the ball on her, even someone of a small role like hers, it REALLY stood out to me and it really holds this movie down. I understood why she joined Shaw, but I was looking for something a little bit more to her character before she started spitting acid on people with no remorse... :p

i'm ok with azazel and riptide not having many lines....or riptide not having any lines at all, but making angel totally mute in the third act of the movie just felt like everything leading up to her being in the movie to that point was worthless...

With henchmen with little lines, we automatically know that we shouldn't care about these guys and they're obviously just doing it for money, for fun, or whatever. But you bring angel in, give her some lines, start to give her a small dramatic moment, and then just pull a 180 and treat her like a hench...not a fan of that.

I was sad when she changed sides, I think that effected my liking for her, to be honest. I did love that first collection of scenes with her though. The 'We'll show you ours then you show us yours' ones.

There was a scene that was shown in the behind the scenes featurette. I keep talking about this but I'll say it again :p but I think it's after when Shaw is talking about his plans for the missiles in the war room with the Russian general. Azazel, Riptide and Angel teleport there, which was shown, but what was cut out seemed to when the trio walks up to the map and they all had lines. It's suggested that Angel is Cuban so she is seen looking at her country on the map in particular.

Can anybody post a transcript of what was said during that exchange? I'm deaf so I couldn't really help you there myself...

To me, that probably explains a little more clearly her motives to turn to the dark side.
