Yes it happened. A bunch of undeserving knobs saw TDK this week!

It happened in Burbank at the request of an industry big wig in preparation for the marketing onslaught that will accompany TDK. Big wig needs to see the film to do his job effectively. The screening was for someone who will be known as 'The Chin" and his cohorts.

I tried to get information on how it went and the only word I got was; and this is a direct quote:"If you combined the Spiderman, Hulk and Iron Man films, they wouldn't reach up to The Dark Knight's ankles. That's how tall the new Batflick stands next to those aforementioned films." The word masterpiece was thrown around.

Of course, Heath's performance is out of this world but that's no surprise...the real surprise revelation is Aaron Eckart as Harvey Dent. It's a starmaking role. People will be shocked at how good Eckart is in the film. His role is huge.

The Batmobile is destroyed beyond repair and we don't get a new one.

Two-Face shows up only at the very end...and the biggest reveal--Just when you think the movie is finished and the credits are about to roll, everything starts over again. What this means, I don't know but I was told that it was pretty mind-blowing stuff. Very Chris Nolan.

The person I spoke to was very tight-lipped and didn't want to tell me more...even after the offer of many bribes...

I can't take the waiting anymore!

if true this is freakin amazing! really cannot wait i need to get out of town or somethin thatll make the time go by faster

I thought Eckhart was the Chin? LOL.

I hope to God all this turns out to be true. Don't want another Spidey 3 disappointment. This is by far my most anticipated movie ever and the only thing that I am sure of is that the acting will be brilliant.

I really hope this is all true. Especially about the end. Thanks for the information, Attikus!

"Starts over" ? What are you talking about?

I'm guessing some new super villains/psychos might start causing problems and just when Batman thinks he's taken care of Joker and the mob...that's just my guess.

I can't remember who the old posters are that constantly come in every 6 months or so and feed false info, but just in case you are.....f**k you. :o

i think he means theres more to the movie when you think its finished when he says "starts over"

Damn, I hope this is true...

"Starts over," he probably means that just when you think the movie is finished, it starts up again with new stuff, leaving a 'to be continued' vibe.

On topic, good to hear. The 'Hulk, Iron Man, Spiderman sum up' quote has me even more amped for TDK.

Honestly, if I hear reviews and lines like these, I'll be gloriously joyous.

This made me LOL.

Well Bruce gets hit in the head and can't make any new memories. So he starts searching for the mysterious John G so he can avenge his parents.

You think the thread starter is full of it Crook?

It would be nice to have a link to where he read that info...*hint hint*.

I'm not buying it for the sole reason that big wigs don't talk like fanboys when describing what they saw. "If you put this movie and this movie and this movie together..." uh... NO.

I think it hints at a fact I very much appreciate about Nolan's series as opposed to Burton or Schumacher...

and that's that just because the main villain of the piece is out of the way hardly means that Batman's job is done. Crime continues on as a neverending struggle.

"Oh now that Two-Face is dead and Riddler's in Arkham, the day is saved and I don't have to do anymore crimefighting."

But with Nolan, "Begins" ended with Scarecrow and a handful of crazed inmates on the loose, Gotham and Wayne Manor all but destroyed AND the Joker coming onto the scene...

I know there are like 2 or 3 vets that come in every once and a while and just post new info and expect us to trust them. Then they disappear, the info gets debunked, but we don't ever remember who they are because they've already gone. Then the entire cycle starts over. :(

I don't care if the spoilers are legit (even though I love reading them in case they are) but I sure hope the critiques are legit because this sounds beyond epic. Can't stop the hype!

Amen crook, Amen.

PS: if they read this, please stop PMing me to confirm that goddam rotten tomato review.
