X-Men, Spider-Man, etc - I will definitely see all of them because they're my favorite characters, but the franchises themselves are underwhelming and tired at this point so I'm not that excited about them :csad:

You're underwhelmed by the X franchise? For me X:FC is second only to TDK and DofP is also an excellent movie (but no where near as good as FC).

I can understand you being underwhelmed by the Spidey franchise. That franchise needs a major shot in the arm (or head to put it out of its misery).

If I can afford it I will see every single one of the movies. The only CBMs I haven't seen in theatres is Jonah Hex and Green Hornet. I still haven't seen those movies.

There Is a lot of unknows for me.Things depend on how trailers look and me
getting more information

Me seeing Age of ultron depends on full trailer

Not intrested In this version of Ant-Man

How trailers look will depend on if I see the Fantastic four

My Intrest In DC films will henge on how I like Batman V Superman especilly with how i felt man of steel was meh.My main Intrest In film Is Batman.

Deadpool will depend on Trailer.

Defently will be seeing X-Men:APocalypse

Captain America:Civil War will depend on what characters are In film and
how trailers look

If WOlverine solo film Is based on Old man logan pass.I will only consider seeing Thor:Ragnarok If it takes place entirely In Asgard

Me being X-Men fan Is going to make me pass on Inhumans.I don't have much Intrest In Shazam or Cyborg solo.Captain Marvel eather

If Sinister Six Is indeed a Spider-man reboot.pass.Not Intrested in another Spider-man reboot.

I know I'm in the minority but it's just been the same old, same old for too long and after 14 years it really doesn't feel like it's gone anywhere. I did love X1 and X2 at the time but those were over 10 years ago now. FC was cool but it hasn't held up all that well for me and some of the choices for the characters were VERY odd.

I really wanted to like DOFP but it bored me. Too many characters with no purpose and even though I love Fassbender's portrayal, when it ultimately reverted to being the Magneto show again I rolled my eyes. The young Beast, among others, is just horrible.

Many of my favorite X-Men aren't even in the movies or get very minimal screentime at the expense of Wolverine, Professor X, Magneto, and now Mystique.

I would love nothing more than a new vision for the X-Men but that's not going to happen any time soon, so I hope Apocalypse can add something fresh and exciting to this one. It's about time they faced another iconic and DIFFERENT villain. I'm not getting my hopes up though.

After thinking about it, here's my list:

MUST SEE in no particular order
Batman V Superman of course
Apocalypse (my favorite X-Men villain)
Age of Ultron
Cap 3
Wolverine 3 (really liked The Wolverine)
Deadpool
Batfleck solo film (please direct it Batfleck)
Suicide Squad (saw Fury, Ayer's gonna kill it)
Avengers Infinity War 1 & 2
JL 1 & 2
Black Panther
Shazam (especially if James Wan directs it)
Dr Strange

Depends on Director, Writer, & Cast
Flash (like Ezra but need more)
Wonder Woman
Green Lantern
Superman solo
Aquaman

Maybes or DVD
Ant-Man
Captain Marvel
In humans
Thor 3
GOTG2

Have no interest
Fantastic Four (I don't care for them not bc of the direction but bc I just don't feel any hype)
Fantastic Four 2
Cyborg (how do you do a solo on someone who has no solo stuff?)
Gambit (never been a big Gambit guy)

Will never see
Anything Sony Spidey related

Did I miss any films? Also TV must sees
Daredevil
Constantine
Flash
Defenders

Nothing else matters for TV for me.

Everything DC related, X Men Apocalypse, Deadpool, TASM 3(not going to watch female lead Spider woman or Venom movie), most of the Marvel Studios stuff (except Inhumans, Black Panther, Dr. Strange and Ant-man.)

Edit: About Fantastic Four, if the reviews are good, I'll give this movie a chance, mostly because Josh Trank is a talented director.

Interestingly, I saw both on DVD, the first half of both movies is decent enough, just avoid the second half.

Keeping it simple...

Marvel Studios/Disney >> All of them.

Sony/Fox/etc >> Don't care.

DC/Warner >> Really don't care.

For me (and this is meaning in the theater, unless noted I'll at least check it out on bluray)...

MUST SEE:
Everything from Marvel Studios
Batman v Superman
Justice League 1&2
X-Men: Apocalypse

WILL PROBABLY SEE:
The rest of the DCU movies
Amazing Spider-man 3
Wolverine 3
Deadpool

WILL PROBABLY SKIP
All Spider-man spin-offs
Gambit/any other X-Men spin-offs

WILL NOT WATCH IN THEATER OR ANY OTHER MEDIA
Fantastic Four re-boot

I'm interested to see people not wanting to see some or a decent amount of the Phase 3 movies, but wanting to see Avengers 3 and 4. I'm not knocking it, but that seems like skipping chapters in a book, but still reading the end.

Everything from Marvel Studios
Almost everything from DC- (not crazy about Shazam)
X-men Apocalypse and Deadpool

Anything else will be entirely contingent on reviews and word of mouth

I'll watch them all. There's not that many great films coming out and I have quite a bit of time on my hands. It's also cheaper than going down the pub.

Marvel = Interested
DC = Not

I'm totally biased but if I said anything else I'd be lying.

Sticking to the Marvel ones since this is the Marvel thread:

Sinister Six (I really want them to pull this one off. I'm a little disillusioned on the ASM franchise, but the spinoff could be cool since it's a different creative team)
X-Men: Apocalypse
F4 reboot (Really. I've grown really fond of Miles Teller after seeing him in a few other movies. He still doesn't strike me as a Reed Richards, but he's fun to watch, so I'll give it a go. MBJ was cool in Chronicle and the one other movie I saw him in. Though I still chuckle every time I hear his name mentioned)
Ant Man
Black Panther
Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet 1 & 2
Cap 3
Guardians 2
[Tentatively] Captain Marvel (I haven't read enough of her in comics/seen her in enough movies or cartoons to get a feel for her character)

Not really too keen on Dr. Strange or Inhumans. I could be missing one or two, but off the top of my head, I'm excited for the above list.

I'll see everything WB has planned and all the MCU universe except Ant-man. I'll probably see the Spider-man and Xmen stuff although Amazing and DOFP were just OK for me.

Actually more hyped about the DC stuff than marvel and I'm pretty hyped about the MCU.

A lot can change based on premises, trailers, casting announcements, reviews, and word of mouth. Right now, though:

It's a safe bet I'll see:

Wolverine 3
X-Men: Apocalypse
Batman v Superman
Captain America: Civil War

I have a particular interest in:

Jessica Jones
Agent Carter
Ant-Man

There's a strong chance I'll see:

Daredevil/Luke Cage/Iron Fist/Defenders (if only because they're connected to Jessica Jones)
Justice League Part One
Justice League Part Two
Shazam
Wonder Woman
Gambit
The Fantastic Four
Inhumans
Captain Marvel
Female Sony (naturally, it depends a lot on who it is)
The Amazing Spider-Man 3

There's a fair chance I'll see:

Supergirl
Black Panther
Doctor Strange
The Fantastic Four 2
Deadpool
The Sinister Six
Cyborg
Suicide Squad
Aquaman

I haven't ruled out:

Green Lantern
The Flash
Venom
Avengers: Age of Ultron

I probably won't be seeing:

Preacher
iZombie
Powers
Avengers: Infinity War I
Avengers: Infinity War II
Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Thor: Ragnarok
