Daylight is Maximized for people who work regular hours.

What the hell is this garbage breh.
What the heck is a BREH?

It's winter time which means the sun is out a lot less than summertime so why would we set our clocks back an hour getting even less daylight?
This is so that schoold kids don't have to wait for the bus or walk to school in the dark.

What's the point of having daylight in the morning? People are either sleep or driving or going to school we don't need daylight for that.
We also don't need children wandering around in the dark. It is for safety.

Now it's going to be dark at 5pm now. What the heck.
No big problem that I see.

This is what they need to do.

Set the clocks forward 2 hours in the winter time to maximize daylight time then set it back an hour in the summer time so it's not daylight at 11 PM.
Let's see how that works:

Lets say that sunrise is at 6am
Fall 2009 - we set clocks ahead 2 hours - sunrise now 8am
Spring 2010 - we set clocks back 1 hour - sunrise now 7am
Fall 2010 - we set clocks ahead 2 hours - sunrise now 9am
Spring 2011 - we set clocks back 1 hour - sunrise now 8am
Fall 2011 - we set the clocks ahead 2 hours - sunrise now 10am
Spring 2012 - we set clocks back 1 hour - sunrise now 9am
Fall 2012 - we set clocks ahead 2 hours - sunrise now 11am

Doing this will increase the enjoyability of everyone on the planet
O'Rly?

JPlaya is still around?? Wow, I didn't know that.
I miss all the "Batman>all except Goku" threads.....sort of.

Why do they change the clock in Spring? Why not leave it at Winter time all year and never change the clocks?

Because in spring and summer, with the nicer weather, people tend to spend more time outside (playing and working) so this extends the amount of time they can stay outside.

Not for me.... went to work Saturday... thought "hey, I get an extra hour of sleep"... then the foreman tells us at the end of the day.... 5am start tomorrow instead of 6am.....

lovely

What people? All the people I know stay indoors on there computers.

Honestly though...I want someone to tell me what a "breh" is because I have no idea. :csad:

It sounds like some sort of hors d'oeuvre.

Shortened form of brethren. Or, if this is easier to follow:

Brother
Bro
Bruh
Breh

All my clocks are wrong and i don't want to change them! I fear change:o

breh is like bro or bruh or bruh man it's a good term to use to great your peeps.

They were walking in the dark before what's different now. Let's be reality elemntary school start at 9:00 9:30 so it's sunlight by then. Highschool students would be in the dark no worried right

We also don't need children wandering around in the dark. It is for safety.

They were walking around before in the dark they will be ok. There school start after 9

Huge problem if you wanted to do something after work but now it's doom and glory and you don't want to go anyway.

Let's see how that works:

Spring 2010 - we set clocks back 1 hour - sunrise now 7am

Fall 2012 - we set clocks ahead 2 hours - sunrise now 11am

I have no problem with this. This system maxamizes human being enjoyment. Fall of 2010 we most likely won't set the clock forward than set i back 2 hours so sunrise can be at 9am.

O'Rly?

absolutely this system will prove to be good for helping humans out in them orning

In all seriousness, the sun goes down at 10-11 in summer, would one less hour of sun really make a difference to people? Hell it would help kids get to sleep earlier if it is actually dark outside.

Sure people near the equator might have to get up early to enjoy there days since it's shorter that us futher away but they apparently take siesta anyway and miss the best part of the day.

you know what, I'm not even going to comment on this
You know that was a joke right... :o
I didn't realize you knew any people.
I'll take that as a joke and not just a mean comment.

How would a system in which sunrise would be at 11 am "maximize human enjoyment"?

American's are lazy you see. They would rather wake late.
Not like the rest of the world though, no sir!

<joking>

Now I can't walk home from work as it is too dark once I am off.
