Meloni? No. It wouldn't make sense that a normal person would live through that, and no to making him Captain Atom. That's an unnecessary change for the sake of "steamlining".

Faora though? If we can get Brainiac and/or Kara in the Superman sequel solo film... Yeah, I would love to see her return. Seeing how Zod is out of the question, I could see Faora in said sequel being a bit like Vegeta is to DBZ. I'd give her an arc that while not quite redemption, would let her go out like a bad ass, dying in a struggle against Brainiac.

Would love to see Faora turn up on team Darkseid in JL 2 and throw down with WW - talk about an epic confrontation.

Sadly, highly doubt it will happen.

If love to see Hardy return because I loved him but it's better that he's dead given what happened. I still think Faora coming back would be awesome and given Hamilton was at the back of the ship maybe he could have survived somehow too?

I think it was left open at the end of Man Of Steel for Faora and the Kryptonians, Hardy and Dr. Emil Hamilton to return after being sucked into the Phantom Zone. Whether they will use them again is another matter. But I believe that was the intention, to have that possibility.

That could be a way to go. It could be cool to have her fight alongside Superman against the common enemy Brainiac.

I don't really care for colonel Hardy for example, maybe he could come back as a standard grunt. Faora would be interesting but you would have to do something new with her
