They Should Make That Movie!

Tarantino doing high fantasy or a space-opera. He can do whatever he wants with the plot and the cast. I just want to see that. Badly.

Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie

I had never heard about this book before. Thanks for the tip. Will check it out. But yeah, I'll still dying for Tarantino to do high fantasy. LOL

Now I had this idea that would be awesome if Fincher directed a Tarantino script. Thriller, obviously. And lots, lots of blood. But yeah, one man can dream.

A sequel to Cobra.

The only reference to the original would be his shades, gun, car.

But set in a zombie apocalypse future. Cobra going from town to town cleaning up the streets and dealing with underground mutants and hillbilly ppl.

Soundtrack by Cliff Martinez and directed by Refn.

It's more involved with magic and the like than Abercrombie's stuff, so yes.

What about a team up movie with Black Cobra's Fred Williamson?

:funny:

I had an idea about a killer monster who preyed on Londoners during the Blitz but then I watched the strain with the vampire preying on concentration camp prisoners which felt a bit too similar to my idea.

Neil Marshall is great at coming up with entertaining sounding movie concepts.
The Sword and the Fury is a film about a heist that takes place in medieval times. The story takes place 30 years after the death of King Arthur when his sword Excalibur is stolen. Arthur's queen Guinevere hires a band of thieves to steal it back. Arthurian Ocean's Eleven.

"It's basically a sequel to the Arthur legend because there are so many characters from the Arthur story that are still alive at the end of the story.

Pretty much every society, every culture in the world has some version of the Arthur legend so everybody knows it, certainly in the western world everybody knows King Arthur but nobody knows what happens next. That's the key to it, I want to know what happens next. I want to know what happens to Guinevere and all the survivors," Marshall continued. "So I wondered what that would be like if this tyrant managed to get hold of Excalibur, which at that time is like the equivalent of having a nuclear weapon. It's the sort of power that anyone who owns it is undefeatable. (The film) is about Guinevere and the Grail Knights hiring this band of thieves to steal it back.

Sacrilege is a planned film that takes place in the Old West. Marshall described the film, "It is set during the Gold Rush, a time remembered for incidents like the Donner Party. It is meant to be a pitch-black, gritty, period horror movie." The film will be themed on paranoia and isolation, and the director will draw inspiration from the 1982 film The Thing. "This is Unforgiven by way of H.P. Lovecraft, with that grim, gritty setting and a horror element nobody has seen before," Marshall said

Burst 3D is a horror thriller film, first announced in October 2009, that Neil Marshall plans to direct. The film, based on a screenplay by Gary Dauberman, would follow travellers stranded in a blizzard and being attacked by an entity that makes them spontaneously combust. Sam Raimi produced with his company Ghost House Pictures.

Neil Marshall could be the modern John Carpenter if people financed some of his crazy dream projects. The guy doesn't even need a big budget either. After Doomsday and Centurion didn't do so great he went to television directing episodes of Game Of Thrones, Black Sails and Constantine but I really want to see him back making movies.

Dwane Johnson and Channing Tatum working together again. It doesn't really matter what they're doing, I was just so impressed by their chemistry in the second GI Joe film that I want to see them do a whole film together.

Citizen Kane remake, using the same old script.

I want biopics for Burt Lancaster, Gregory Peck, Robert Mitchum and Charlton Heston.

A buddy cop movie with Stephen Dillane and Michael McElhatton as the buddy cops. Or they could play the city maintenance worker brothers from my first post in this thread.

and who other to direct it than......

The Incredibles' Frozone Spin-Off: A 70's Superhero Animated Film.

A Dirty Harry or Bullit Reboot with Josh Brolin or Viggo Mortenssen.
