REMEMBER REMEMBER THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER!

Actually, Doc slipped on the toilet and invented the flux capacitor on November 5. The lightning didn't strike the clock tower until the following Saturday, November 12.

Great Scott!

Funniest line I heard last time I watched it was. "Ronald Reagan is president." Doc responds, "Who's Secretary of State? Jerry Lewis.":woot:
I think that's right.^

Vice President. :cwink:

Hot damn this is a sweet day.

"Yes of course. November 5th 1955! I can remember it almost vividly. I was standing on the edge of my toilet to hang a clock, and I slipped and hit my head on the sink. And I had a vision! A revelation!"

Something like that.

Doc "Here's a red letter date in the history of science, November 5th 1955" *laughs*
Marty "What, I don't get what happened."
Doc "That was the day I invented time travel. I remember it vividly. I
was standing on the edge of my toilet hanging a clock, the porcelain was wet, I slipped, hit my head on the edge of the sink. And when I came to I had a revelation, a picture, a picture in my head,
a picture of this. This is what makes time travel possible. The Flux Capacitor." *points to a device between the Delorean's front seats*
Marty "The Flux Capacitor."
Doc: "It's taken me almost thirty years and my entire family fortune to
realize the vision of that day, my god has it been that long. Things have certainly changed around here. I remember when this was all farmland as far as the eye could see. Old man Peabody, owned all of this. He had this crazy idea about breeding pine trees."

BTTF is my all time favorite movie, check my screen name :hehe:

V is still a fantastic film. Though Back to the Future owns its ass.

I think it's my dad's favorite film too. He even had a BTTF shirt.

By the way, tonight at dinner, I asked my dad what was so special about today was. He was clueless. Then I said it just like Doc Brown in BTTF.

"Yes of course. November 5th 1955!"

Then my dad started laughing and said it was the day that time travel was invented. :woot:

I thought this was a Guy Fawkes thread..

I dressed up as V today..

I still love the scene when Marty and Jennifer are interrupted by the activist lady...

[Marty and Jennifer are about to kiss, when suddenly a donation can is rattled in their faces.]

Activist: "Save the Clock Tower!!! Save the Clock Tower. Mayor Wilson is sponsoring an initiative to replace that clock."

[Marty & Jennifer look behind them, to the damaged timepiece]

Activist: "Thirty years ago, lightning struck that Clock Tower and the clock hasn't run since. We at the Hill Valley Preservation Society think it should be preserved exactly the way it is, as a part of our history and heritage!"

[Marty drops a coin in her donation can]

Marty: "There ya go, lady; there's a quarter."

Activist: "Thank you; don't forget to take a flyer." [moves on] "Save the Clock Tower!!!"

:D

Overboards are coming as soon as the next load of unobtainium is shipped from Pandora.
