No, we don't need the dumb looking grey Batman costume.
My point is make it look like a real version of the animated series. Since they can't bring in the big name actors who are already committed to the solo projects, how about giving us a Superman who really looks like he could lift a house? A Batman who picks people up and you actually believe he could lift them?
I think it's pointless to cast name actors, maybe pick up some unknowns who have the true comic book physique, who remind people more of the comics and the various DC animated series. JLA can market itself off the crazy F/X and the names of all the famous heroes. How about just for once giving us a true superhero looking movie?
I hate to say it because I'm against Michael Bay-esque movies, but the ponit of this movie will not be to probe deep into the psyches of the superheroes and their backgrounds. It's a slamming action fest. Who needs name actors or true thespians? Give us some steroid driven actors, crank up the CGI, and see what the final result is.
