but how serious a film will this picture be? like hands down the first is the BEST because it was more like the comics in its darker nature. as the other movies went on it was because it was a kids thing not a comic thing so

I think this turtle movie will be more serious then the 2nd & 3rd turtle movies...but not as dark as the first

Ah the Triceraton story line. The four issues that revolved around this were vital to the Turtle mythology due to the TCRI fact and meeting the Utroms.

Yes, please let them handle this with all the seriousness, class and dignity that is needed to represent the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES in cinematic form. I mean, I believe this movie will be good, but not because I for some reason think that its going to be "dark and beautiful like the comics".

Kevin Munroe said that he wants to match the tone of: Ghostbusters, Die Hard, and Lethal Weapon. That is an action movie with lots of humor mixed in.
