I was surprised there wasn't a thread yet about this show. In my opinion, it's the number one drama on television right now and the best media content drama out there (better than most dramatic films I see as well).

Jack and his wife - who is very pregnant with triplets -- have just moved into their new home in Pittsburgh. Successful and handsome television actor Kevin is growing increasingly bored with his bachelor lifestyle. Randall -- who was abandoned at a fire station by his father as an infant -- is a stylish New York-based businessman working to raise two daughters with his wife, Beth. These people are among a group -- several of whom share a birthday -- of seemingly random individuals whose lives intertwine in unexpected ways.

And I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one on SHH who absolutely loves this show. I very rarely buy dramatic shows on blu ray, the only other being the second season of 'American Crime' and right now this is a guaranteed purchase to me because it's better on a weekly basis than most of the films I see - brilliant writing, strong performances, solid direction all around.

Love this show! :hrt:

The past few eps have made me really emotional. Brown is the MVP but the entire cast is really splendid all around.

I need to catch up,but I thought the 1st 2 episodes were great.

Been watching it too. Quite a lot better than I expected. They managed to twist the drama and comedy quite well and no one is written as a terrible character.

Good to see Mandy Moore still getting work.

My wife has me on it. It's really emotionally intense. She tries to binge watch it and I'm just

This show's been great.

This past episode really hit you in the feels. Not that the past shows didn't, but this one...

I've been crying every episode for the last couple ones. TOBY!!!

I don't like Toby. :ninja: :p

Mandy, Chrissy, and the show got Golden Globe nominations. Brown got in for The People vs OJ instead.

i've been DVRing this show since i saw the trailer months ago. i finally got to binge watch it the past few days and i just finished Episode 6. i'm loving it.

Randall and Beth are one of, if not my favorite married couple on tv right now. it's just such a good show all the way around. i love how well they can balance between past and present and when she introduced Toby to her Dad, man it kinda got me a little. i'm loving Milo as Jack

Not reading some of the posts in here in case of spoilers. But I finally got around to watching. Been wanting to watch this just never got around to it. I've watched the first 6 episodes. I'm in love with this show.

Absolutely love it, the emotion and feels. Some good laughs too. Just very relatable and real imo. So many times already in 6 episodes I find myself both smiling and laughing and then getting a tear in my eye relating to something. Has a great soundtrack and I love all of the characters and the acting is wonderful. Gonna finish catching up this weekend hopefully in time for the next new episode.

i'm glad you said it Broseph, the soundtrack is totally amazing and should be appreciated more

I am fully caught up! Binged the rest today. I stand by all my recent comments. This show fully has me. Milo as Jack btw is amazing, I think all of the actors are amazing fyi. I love him from back during Heroes and when I watch him as Jack, just wow. Incredible.

And yes ComicChick! This show has an amazing and under appreciated score/soundtrack.

This really is a phenomenal show and one of the best on network TV. The characters are great, feel very real and just have you fully invested in what's going on. Big 3!

This is another amazing episode. This show is so damn good :hrt:

Hard at times to watch but it doesn't have many competitors either. Not many shows can pull off their drama/comedy/writing combination and succeed.

This Is Us' Renewed for Second and Third Seasons at NBC

Dan Fogelman's breakout drama will be back for the 2017-18 broadcast season.

NBC has made its first renewal for the 2017-18 broadcast season and it should come as no surprise.

The network announced Wednesday at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour that it has handed out an early second — and third — season pickups to Dan Fogelman's breakout drama This Is Us. They will each be 18-episode seasons.

Hard at times to watch? You mean like how it messes with and hits you in the feels? Haha

Loved the ending to tonight's episode with Kevin and Randall :hrt:
