I watched the extended cut of Suicide Squad. It's not Ayer's original version, and is still missing some stuff, but I enjoyed the theatrical cut and this extended cut adds some nice character moments so I enjoyed it enough to justify buying it.

Theatrical Cut - 7/10

Game of Thrones has had a few episodes played on IMAX. That's the only show I'd watch at an IMAX theater because it's battle episodes are cinematic enough to justify it.

I think Lovecraftian is a descriptor that's bandied around far too much...but I think it applies here. I'm reading a novel called Dragon Keeper by Robin Hobb (GRRM recommends her) and there's this neat thing where people that grew up in the marshy rainforests where the dragons live become changed.

Changed in the sense of talons in place of fingernails, scales, and scaled ridges for brows. A few even have wattlelike growths. It reminds me of the Deep Ones from Innsmouth.

Binge through 52 episodes of the Marvel Netflix Series.

Streaming costs like $7.99 a month. Even if you did it for 3 months, that'd still be cheaper than purchasing the season.

I thought the Netflix shows beside DD season 2 stretched a bit too long with their 13 episodes schedule.

Surprised nobody is talking about the Inhumans show that's going to be on ABC. They are doing the first 2 episodes in special IMAX screenings across the USA so we are essentially getting a movie that kicks off a show for the MCU.
