More like they (Impact) need to do everything in their power to have some control because they aren't going to be making any money off the gimmick as it is, so at least if they can sell the trademarks, etc. they can make a few bucks off of it.

Here are the results for The WWE UK live event, which everyone says is going to be televised, but the WWE has never announced it.

WWE UK TV Taping Results

Roy Johnson defeated HC Dryer (this was a dark match that probably won’t air).

William Regal came out at the beginning of the tapings to announce a match between Mark Andrews and James Drake. He said that the winner of the match will face whoever is the WWE UK Champion during tomorrow’s show.

Mark Andrews defeated James Drake.

Saxon Huxley & Akira Tozawa defeated Brian Kendrick & Tony Nese.

Pete Dunne defeated Sam Gradwell.

TJP defeated Rich Swann.

Tyson-T Bone defeated Dan Moloney.

Trent Seven defeated Wolfgang.

Tyler Bate defeated Joseph Conners to retain his WWE UK Championship.

Trent Seven and Pete Dunne will face off during tomorrow’s tapings to determine who will face Tyler Bate for the WWE UK Championship later this month at NXT TakeOver Chicago.

Speaking of NXT, if Auska is still the NXT Women's Champion after Summerslam, would that surprise you? It would me. She should be on her way to destroying the SD Women's Division as a legit heel.

I don't see her getting called up after Backlash. If there are any call ups after Backlash, it'll be #DIY and maybe Hideo Itami.

Pete Dunne defeated Trent Seven. Dunne will now go on to NXT TakeOver: Chicago to face Tyler Bate for the WWE UK Championship. Pete Dunne came out with the PROGRESS Championship and was announced at that promotion’s champion before the match. Jim Smallman, co-owner of PROGRESS, was also on hand for the show and had an in-ring segment to kick the tapings off.

Even if only those broadcast stations start airing ROH TV, this is huge news. There are a lot of new markets on that list and a lot of markets where ROH currently only airs on digital subchannels like Comet TV or ThisTV.

But if Sinclair decides to keep WGN America rather than sell it, it could be a permanent national cable TV home for ROH Television. That network has aired WWE shows in the past, so there is a decent chance.
