This May Be Your Show, But This Is MY Wrestling Thread! - Part 242

So Becky lost again, and in a really pathetic way that made her look like a chump and didn't even get Natalya over much either. Of course she did. In other "shocking news," the oceans are big.

Sometimes it's REALLY hard to be a Becky Lynch fan. They seem dead set against letting her build any kind of real/sustained momentum.

On a more positive front, the "Fashion Police" continue to be funny

Try being a fan of becky lynch...and Bray Wyatt.:woot:
I seriously dont get what they think they archive with Becky having to lose constantly.

While Smackdown in general seems a bit boring, there are some positive points:

I agree that Breezango is pretty funny (though, their feud with the Usos seems...off).

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Jindar Mahal every week looks more and more like a real contender. I wouldn't mind seeing him with a heel Seth Rollins-type of championship reign.

Otherwise, it was boring. I'm a fan of Randy Orton, but he just seems to be going through the motions and it colors the whole show. Smackdown had more energy when AJ or Cena was the champ.

I'm increasingly thinking Jinder might actually win the belt. This reminds me of when Sheamus won the WWE title from Cena; WWE felt they needed to shake things up, so they had a guy without much of a legacy coming out and beating their top guy. From Jinder, it would be easier to transition the title to Styles or even Nakamura.

It's not the first time Becky has taken a pin from a weak finish either. What made it laughably cringe is that Becky reacted as if she had just been beaten by a small package or something similar and completely no sold.

So the WWE wants to bring Cena back before he wants to come back due to the sagging ratings.

I really think the "superstar shake up" screwed things up. I feel like fans started to really invest themselves in the brands as they were and then Vince & Co threw everything out the window.

Maybe a more controlled shake up should have happened, for example, maybe just move ONE main eventer, mid-level player, woman and tag team from each brand to the other THEN bring up NXT talent to supplement the rosters.

I'm just wondering...
Just how hard is Ziggler going to sell the Kinshasa? Will he actually remove his own head and throw it into the audience or will he simply fall into a coma?

Your thoughts?

He'll be in suspended animation where he's continually turning inside out mid air.

Ziggler will be knocked out and wake up a million years into the future where the WWE is now dominated by Roman Reigns Life Model Decoys and the Roman LMD's have all of the titles.

He'll actually flail about, headless, Ric Flair style for a few minutes. Bring the kids! Bring the family!

He will be thrown back in time and space, simultaneously becoming an old man and a celestial fetus.

He will return at Summerslam to deliver this cryptic message:

ALL THESE PROMOTIONS

ARE YOURS EXCEPT

ROH

ATTEMPT NO

ACQUISITION THERE

BOOK THEM TOGETHER

BOOK THEM IN PEACE

I'm glad everyone got on board with my joke. Let's face it, Ziggler is one of the top over-sellers in the business!

Sheamus was getting a push on ECW. Jinder was losing, losing, and losing some more . This is like 123 Kid if he were a heel and won a title shot instead of beating Razor Ramon as an underdog face.

Dude seriously went from jobbing to Mojo and Gronk and legit giving Balor a concussion like an idiot to beating Orton and being #1 contender. Yeah ok.

I know this joke maybe a decade old but....

I heard that Jinder Mahal's "personal trainer" is former Baseball Player Jose Canseco.

:o

Smackdown's rating was also not very good......which is why they want John Cena back earlier than he wants to.

Hell, I want Cena back. I mean it's cool AJ and KO are getting shine but maybe we'll get less Orton when Cena comes back.

205 Live needs major fixing....but I don't know how that can happen.

I know general manager characters are not popular with everyone, but that's what the show needs. You need that as a go-to plot mechanism, and to give the show a sense of story cohesion. Maybe Angle can appoint someone to be that person on 205.

Wooohooo! Officially got the night off for NXT: Chicago! Can't wait to boo Ciampa and Gargano in person.
