He claimed TS was written by Jonah Nolan - Nolan contributed a few lines of dialogue, T3 writers Ferris & Brancato wrote the script, with other writers doing redrafts, but not Nolan.
He claimed Stan Winston filmed a cameo - not only was Winston dead by the time said-scene (vs Hydrobot) was filmed, it was alleged that Winston was not due to cameo anyway.
He claimed TS would be R - It was PG-13
He promised a mind melting, 'elliptical' ending through promotion - err, where was it?
Altered film stick would give the film a silver sheen and otherworldly look - can't see it.
30-40 minutes of cut material on the DVD - 90 or so seconds inserted

on the rating, he did say he was shooting for an R, but WB leaned on him super hard and even threatened to cut his budget if he didn't make it PG-13

Lol you say that about Reynolds, while Worthington signs on for a new movie every other week. And frankly so many actors don't need work

Worthington is just boring to watch. Suits try and shove him down our throats, but I don't hear about anyone besides Fanboy/Net dwellers care or even talk about him. If someone couldnt really catch on after starring in one of the biggest movies ever I doubt he will ever catch on

Is there any word on when they want to release this movie ?
WB is currenty fasttracking development of the clash of the titans sequel and will start shooting in Jan. Word around studios is that once he finishes work on the COTT sequel , he'll begin work on the avatar sequel.

Your source? TS went overbudget by $17 million. $217million in total. If that wasn't cause to cut funding then...
Should also add that McG stated plentiful that he was shooting with 'no specific rating in mind - if it's R, it's R', though he expressed a desire to deliver an R movie to appease fans.

Reading the whole article, I didnt know they story dealt with 2 spies, I thought it was more 2 average guys who, in pursing this girl, happen to cause mayhem on a catastrophic scale in a city

Tom Hardy has made 1up this movie by ten folds since the departure of Sam.

I hate saying that, but look at Tom's role in Inception. You can tell he's a star in the making. He worked hard to get to this point, and after Bronson, he's unstoppable.

Listen, I don't hate Sam either but he lacks gravitas, and if he doesn't be careful, he'll be the next Paul Walker.

The Tom Hardy love cracks me up.

As for McG, I think Charlies Angel's one was exactly what it needed to be, the 2nd was overkill, with Terminator Salvation his heart was in the right place and it was a step up for him in many ways, but the script let him down.

This here is a perfect in between for him, something fun but with a chance to show he can reignit in a bit and no doubt he'll have the budget to deliver more great set pieces.

What does MCG do, just take a look at last year and this year's hits, sees who's starring in them, and give a call? I put all my faith in MCG last time, the guy has failed me immensely.

He can get a good team going, I'll give him that. But he's also a master salesman, so I'm not too confident that this movie will be any different from the crap he's put out.

Oh my God, this movie sounds awful. Tom Hardy, aka my new obsession, what are you doing working with McG? You are better than this. Well, I guess he wants the Hollywood exposure and money. He should see what Michael Fassbender is doing with his career and follow suit. Fassbender followed up his breakthrough supporting gig in Inglourious Basterds with Cronenberg's next picture. However, he still has an eye on the commercial by doing the upcoming X-Men flick. That's the way you do it, Tom, not by doing the next McG/Reese Witherspoon movie. Someone is giving him bad career advice. Oh well. However, if this means less Worthington, then I guess it can't be all bad.
