Do you think she'll be green like Gamora or will they give her a more human look? Im a newbie to the character

If they make her green, she'll look too much like Gamora. Plus they need to save the green skin for She-Hulk.

They should keep her more human looking. And they really can't make her yellow, because that will just open up a can of worms.

Eh if they want a more insect-like Guardian that's what Bug is for.

For some unknown reason they don't have the rights to Bug, so not really.

We don't know if she's gonna be green. That's the whole point of this discussion.

I doubt Bug is ever going to appear in a movie in anything more than a small role, they might as well make her the official alien/insect member of the team.

I just hope they do a better job with her than they did with Gamora, which was probably the worst looking member of the team. Painted actors pretending to be aliens stopped being impressive quite some time ago.

Everybody knows green people all look the same. I'm not racist, I swear, but it's the truth.

And yeah, I'd prefer non-human eyes too. Worked great for Nebula.

Well, no, not really, I was joking. I'm not that weird. I'm just trying to figure out a way to make her stand out more and not end up being another boring painted human.

Honestly as I said in my first post I don't care about how hot she looks, I just want her to look cool. Rule of Cool trumps Rule of Sexy any day of the week imho.

What do you expect her personality to be like in the film?

I'm glad more and more female characters are being introduced to the MCU, but I want some that get to be larger than life scene stealers like Iron Man, Hulk, Ant Man, Spider Man, etc.

Gamora, Black Widow, and Scarlet Witch are usually very serious to the point of seeming stoic at times. Women should get to be fun too! lol

I don't know if Mantis known for being fun. But I guess she could be. We need female characters who are less uptight and more laid back. It would be great if Mantis were so relaxed and laid back that she's perfectly fine wearing this outfit:

I'm partial to human skin tone as a tribute to her original look. Her current green look is too much like Gamorra. While I think we can all tell the difference, it'll invite swarms of internet commentators who can't.
