No, they post the link in the post, but they don't copy and paste the article itself.

So, for example, first post of the thread would be:

This thread looks like spam but brings up a great discussion point - what is the point of starting a thread if all you plan to do is post a link? It's been something that's frustrated me for a while. You've obviously read enough of the article to know what it's about, and you obviously think it's interesting enough to post - but why do you think it's interesting? The same goes for simple posts in general. Why respond if you've got nothing to say?

I'm sure there are moderators who will look at this and think it undoubtedly needs to be closed. But I think it deserves to stay open and be given a chance to be taken seriously.

I can understand posting just a link, though I would prefer a quote of the actual article in addition to the link... but I am interested in your opinion as well.

In addition, if you are going to ask the Hype an opinion about something, why not break the ice as the creator of the thread... and state your opinion about the very subject from which you are trying to derive discussion? I find it incredibly annoying when I read something like this:
