Me too. And Thor's still young in this movie. Maybe on the sequels he'll grow a beard.

No, you're selling this movie to kids. And kids love younger looking protagonist.

BTW, current Thor is also clean shaven.

I love the beard, but for his proper cinematic debut, I want a clean shaven Thor.

He should have 3 day fuzz going on because that'd look bad ass.

At least a hint of a beard.

This will likely be promoted as more of a fantasy genre than your typical superhero flick so they should go with a more rugged look on the hero rather than clean cut. Please just say no to the Eragon look KB. :O

I'd go for bearded Thor. A neat, trimmed beard, though. Bearded Thor is in every way superior to unbearded Thor. :oldrazz:

I'd say wait on the Beard even tho one of my all time favorite looks is Lord Thor. The beard to me says wisdom, and Thor may be a experienced warrior But I would wait on the beard. This is supposed to be his introduction and I'd go clean shavin' because of the chance this IS still the banishment story and he would be younger.

Point is so many of the Thor pantheon have beards(our facial hair) a clean shaven Thor sets him apart.

In my world, there's no such thing as a Norseman without a beard. That's one thing that's always bugged me about Thor.

Well Marvel's Thor has always been LOOSELY based on myth even with Walt Simonson and JMS' runs being closely written in the same manner as the myths.
To ME like I said a Bearded Thor just tells me he has more wisdom in the 616 universe.

Beard-less for Thor and Bearded for Avengers

The beardless Thor will work more for the movies and the target audience and that is also the most common look in the comics.

Again I defer to Jack Kirby's choices, over other greats such as Simonson, who gave him a beard........ for short periods of time.

I think it depends on how Chris looks in the costume, he may need a beard to toughen him up a bit.

A good artist could draw him cleanshaven and still intimidating, might be harder for a young, good looking dude to pull off.. I think that Hemsworth may need one, I hope its at least being considered.

Hemsworth looks pretty tough in normal clothes to me. Once he's done bulking up for Thor, I imagine he'll look even tougher, too. I don't think the beard would do much other than age him a bit, so I doubt they'll give him one. Still, I can dream...

So Thor grows a beard as his movies progress. I like this idea. It's a nice compromise.

Well, thanks to the Perfect getaway trailer, we know Chris can grow an awesome beard, so no worries there.

Gotta have the beard. Thor just seems more Thor with a beard.
