Where are some ideas for a Post-Avengers Thor movie? Characters who should be used? Stories that should be used?

I have no knowledge other than the first movie and wikipedia on Thor. Are there any villains other than Loki who can hold his/her own film? Because I imagine they might not wanna use Loki since he's already in The Avengers. Enchantress seems interesting but it seems Im not sure if as a villain she can hold a 2 hr movie.

I also suspect Sif/Thor's relationship will be used more. And I hope the Warrior Three will be bigger

Also I hope they dont explore the Donald Blake alter ego thing. From what ive read it doesnt seem that interesting

They won't use the Donald Blake thing, seeing as it was used already.

I hope the next Thor film is more of an action adventure set in Asgard or one of the other realms. Not on Earth.

I really wouldn't mind a prequel at some point. I know it's incredibly unlikely, but I'd love to see when they first come to Earth and interact with humans. That massive battle with the Jotun, where Odin loses his eye.

Of course, highly unlikely in Thor 2 though. As said above, a good heavy and more (not totally, I just said 'more') serious adventure in the so far unseen realms.

Whenever Enchantress shows up the Executioner is usually right by her side, so you don't have to worry about her holding the film by herself.

Also, I'm sure those two would be in league with a someone like Loki or Malekith to help them set some nefarious plot in motion.

I would love to see Beta Ray Bill in Thor 2!
In the first part of the movie you could develop the fight with Beta Ray as in the Simonson Comics and how Bill gets Strombreaker. And the second half could be against Surtur. Because Surtur attacks the people of Beta Ray Bill and the Asgardians!

Could be one hell of a movie!

Malekith, of course. I want a big ass battle between the Aesir and the Dark Elves...

On Earth or Asgard? I think the Wild Hunt scene on a bridge would look epic TBH. The great gates and a glimpse of faerieland itself would be awesome as well. They should hire someone like Brom or RK Post to come up with dark elf armor based loosely (of course) on Simonson's original designs. Their pale, flowing hair and fine-boned features may make them look angelic from afar but I would play up their disturbing and inhuman quality. Make it so that they are not necessarily evil but dangerous because of their mercurial and amoral tendencies. That would tie into RL legends about the faerie folk's habit of performing random acts of kindness or monstrous cruelty depending on their mood. Instead of having him hate humans or aesir simply because he's evil (as in the comic) Malekith should have some valid reasons for doing what he does, much like Loki. That's obviously going to require a lot more in the way of character development...

With an Enchantress-centric movie you could also play up Heimdall's role. He was one of the few people that Amora had genuine feelings for. She could string along Executioner and work with Malekith to bring about Kurse and have him kick Thor's ass all over the place. Till Heimdall came and gave her some chocolate thunder.

Not to mention that Excutioner could have some pretty cool fights with Thor himself, imagine those two sending each other flying and Thor using his lightning & wind against Skurge's fire & ice.
It would be glorious:thor:

I'm all for a Thor sequel but for the love of God, don't rush it to be in theatres in 2013. Summer of 2014 is when it should hit. That's a solid three years to do justice to this sequel.

Marvel, don't pull a Iron Man 2.

I happily concur with both pictorial choices above.

(Lean more towards Eve, though)

Wonder if they'd use Mo-cap to enhance the executioner?

Spider-Man 2 came out two years after Spider-Man 1 btw and it was better in almost every way.

It should come out in 2014 for Hemsworth's sake. Apparently Snow White and the Huntsman has been bumped up to June 2012: the man deserves a holiday! Besides, Iron Man 3 (and hopefully Ant-Man) can bring in the money for Marvel in 2013. Speaking as a fan and movie buff I would prefer Thor 2 in 2014 because three movies in a row (aside from LOTR) is overkill.

I think Loki, Amora and Skurge are guaranteed. Personally I would like the Council of God-heads and Celestials in a sequel, I have this idea Marvel could use them to set up the universe of the Eternals, Watchers and Deviants. Or they could introduce Balder to build the Ragnarok story arc, writing Thor out of Avengers 2 after three movies to reintroduce him a decade later in a film based on JMS's Gaimanesque run.

They must make both of the two as the villains.

Skurge is the "physical" villain, Enchantress is the "mind".

Yes, i like both Diora Baird and Alice Eve for the role. But Eve is the first for me :hrt::oldrazz:

Yeah I'm hoping for Amora and Skurge in the next film. I just hope with Thor's popularity in the first film, that they don't rush the 2nd.
I'm also wondering if Warriors III do get a spin-off, will the movie be part of the existing stories playing out in the rest of the movies or will it just be something for them alone?

lol Franklin you HAVE to see Tales of Asgard. Brunhilde is in it TRAINING a young Sif with a bunch of other Valkyries. Fandral's "likeness" is on all the targets the Valkyries are using for bow practice. lol

Thing is, ALL the Valkyries have WHITE hair. Brunhilde seems to be their leader tho.
