I think he looks great paint and sculpt-wise but the lack of arm articulation is a big :down. Anyone else find it ironic that there hasn't been a Shocker figure since 1995, and they still got the same thing wrong ? I really hope he isn't a 1-per-packer, cause I'm definently going to buy one.

Yea, the no articulation arms are becuse of the dumb gimmicks all figures have to have these days. When I was a kid I prefered using my imagination as opposed to all these spring loaded gimmicks.
When this figure supposed to come out?

It doesn't say on the official site, but I'm guessing around November. Series 19(the one with Electro) will probably be out early next year.

So yeah, we got a while to wait for any new stuff :(

Nope. Toy Biz won't be doing any more Marvel action figures after this year is over.

Oh yeah, I forgot about about that. Well maybe they'll release series 19 around December, I dunno.

Isn't it possible that the figure in the pic is a prototype, and the actual toy will have elbow joints after all?

I think he looks great, but i agree that the arm articulation kind of blows....

Still looking forward to adding him to my collection though.

I was disappointed to hear that the new company, Hasbro, didnt include any new Spidey figures. I still think there are several allies and enemies that deserve the Legends/Classics treatment (or whatever Hasbro is caling it now);

Prowler
Silver Sable
Cloak
Dagger
Rocket Racer
Will o' Wisp
Puma
Solo
Hamerhead
Chameleon
Tombstone
The Spot
Carrion
Shriek
And a Black Cat figure as good as Marvel Legends' Elektra or Black Widow...

And i guess im being a selfish Spidey fan, but;

Peter Parker
Flash Thompson
Gwen Stacy
Captain Stacy
Harry Osborn
J Jonah Jameson
Betty Brant
Mary Jane

and of course....Stan Lee!

Maybe one day.

LOL, You say that like more spiderman figures is a bad thing!

And to the comment about prototypes, I kinda doubt it. When figures get changed, it's usually just paint apps, not articulation. But i could be wrong.

The Shocker figure looks good, how much articulation do you want--do want him to move like a real boy?

Well, I don't it's too crazy to expect ELBOW articulation, especially with all the poseability on figures we've been geting recently. I do like the figure though.

You mean the one that's eighteen inches high?

Yeah that one is incredible!

But not every action figure should have those kind of articulation like Spidey, except for maybe Venom, it's what makes the Spidey figure stand out, do to him being so flexable.

They really should have given him elbow articulation though.
He was almost a perfect figure, before they gave him that dumb action feature!

I think spring-loaded missile-launching arms is just... ehh. I don't like it. The whole arm is just wasted turning into a gun.

What I would have liked to see with Shocker as an action feature is having the ends of his gauntlets light up. You wouldn't have to sacrifice too much articulation, just put the button on the gauntlet itself and have it light up. Very simple.

Damn, what the hell do you people do with your action figures, that they need to have this much perfection in articulation...nevermind, I don't wanna know? :O

So says the guy who wants stuffed animal versions of Spider-Man.

I like that suggestion.

Yeah. It saves alot of posability, plus you don't have large garish holes all the way down his arms.

Yes, and now I want the eyes to light up on them like your Shocker doll.

LOL, I think I'll pick that one up tomorrow, my Smurfs collection is so gonna be jealous. :)
