Lizard and Electro. There ya go.

I wouldn't mind seeing Electro in one of the films. Just as long as they use his Ultimate version and not that garish green-and-yellow disaster. I've always been a fan of Electro.

Ultimate cloth would be fine

that's a lot of villains for one movie...

It would be very hard to do. But I would probably **** myself from seeing a Sinister Six vs Spidey battle on the big screen. Come to think of it, I'm not sure my mind could handle that level of awesome.

I'd like to see Kraven. He'd be a very fresh villain for the Spider-Man movies.

They could integrate Kraven and Lizard together like was mentioned before, but Lizard could work with any other villain really, if they see him as a threat or potential partner that becomes uncontrollable.

This might be just me, but I really dont know why people want Ultimate Electro look better than the original look.
But since Raimi is fan of the classic villains, he'll probably go with the original look of Electro.

Electro had a good costume in the new 'web of shadows' game. the Green and yellow scheme still, but the suit had straps and didnt look like a single piece. Also the mask was kind of ghoulish with a slightly extended nose. Think origional greengoblin/clockwork orange. PS. how gay was the goblins suit in Spider-man 1.

With a talented writer/director with some actual knowledge of spider-mans development over the last 15 years... I dont think it'd be difficult to include 3-6 villains in a single movie (as someone mentioned above). For **** sake... We dont always need to know how they became villains, who they are, what loved ones they have and in what way they are connected to Peter.

You could have 1 villain introduced/removed from the story in the very first scene! I think a battle with Rhino or shocker in the first scene would work perfect... neither character was very complex and you never need to reveal their identities to the audience since spider-man doesnt know them personally. Every event in the spiderman movies seemed so connected to peter personally that It would begin to seem Spiderman is actually the cause of all danger and super villains he encounters.... which doesnt make him much of a hero does it? In number 2, yeh he saved a train... but didnt he throw doc ock on it in the first place?

Yeah, I gotta agree with Mr. Slang here. I'm getting a bit tired of all of Spidey's villains being connected to him in some way. One of the reasons people loved the Joker in TDK was because he came out of nowhere. Nobody knows who he is or where he's from. Why can't Spider-Man have a villain like that?

He can. Not in the current continuity.

After Lizard in SM4 I'd like to see Mysterio!
I know people might think he is corny but imagine a re-imagining of the charecter (like how Nolan somewhat reimagined The Joker)...that could be one AWESOME villain. Creepy and a lot of interesting fights.

If Mysterio is in it I think they should also have Cameleon in the film to add to the 'illusion'

like he did for the Goblins?
I don't think so. he probably will Raiminize his villains like he always did. the only exception was Sandman.

but here is a suit that I would totally love to see:

Defenitely a great look, but I don't think the starfish mask will work on film.

Well, we all know that the symbiote is still around, so perhaps Carnage could be that character.

Ive had that thought myself. By which i mean, that Carnage could be a villain to rival ledgers joker. Alot of people dont seem to like the character, but I think thats just because of his association to venom. Venom kind of lessened or detracted from spider-man in that he had all of his abilities only better. For people not so fond of spider-mans moral aspect, venom seems the cooler character. which pisses spidey fans off I think...

But Carnage alone could be a truly scary character. I've read a few of the maximum carnage issues and I saw him on the cartoon series in the 90s, but I never really appreciated Carnage's character to the current extent until reading a bio of his online.

I think it said something along the lines of... at a young age he witnesses his father kill his mother, while stopping her from killing Cletus. In court however, he testifies against his father resulting in his imprisonment. Cletus stays with his grand parents, later killing them. (I think they're might have been something about pushing down the stairs)

So yeh the guys deranged from a young age, goes on to become a serial killer and do hard time... he has the potential to be as twisted as the joker. Then you throw in a blood red amorphous alien that responds to his thoughts, creating knives, hooks etc..... and you got Carnage. Something like the T1000 from terminator 2 meets heath ledgers joker.

Without Venom he could make a good spiderman movie, but itd have to be a little more adult than the previous ones.

I'm all for Carnage. just put Robert Knepper to play him and he'll be for Carnage what Ledger was for Joker.

If done right, Carnage can be great.
we've yet to have a villain who's just psycho and twisted.
not to mention that Carnage will look amazing visually, too.
but yeah, it will have to have more adult element than previous movies, which can be a good thing.

I think it's kind of cheap to want Carnage in the film just to have Spider-Man be similar to The Dark Knight. I don't want a character "as twisted as the Joker" or anything that "rivals Ledger's Joker." I've already seen the Dark Knight. That's like having Black Cat being in the films, she's just a copy of Catwoman and not very interesting.

Spider-Man isn't Batman.

It's funny how they always attempt to update classic character's costumes, only for the next artist to come on and go right back to the classic, more famous, look.

My favorite Electro costume was in Marvel Knights: Spider-Man. It was basically the classic green and yellow, but looked more realistic with pockets and pouches (which you can't really see in these pics) and a mask that hugged his face in heavy action scenes, which made for a cool design.

You've said otherwise before, why the change now?
I never said that a direct adaption of his starfish mask would work on film. I might have said it before, but forgot that I said it, but I usually remember what I say.

What I did say before though was that they can have some sort of updated version of the starfish mask. Maybe change some things around and stuff like that. Tbh, I wouldn't mind the Marvel Knights Electro.
