All-Star Superman?!? Wow, thats new...but awesome! Curious how they'll translate Quitely's style.
Looking forward to all three movies :awesome:

If Year One and All Star are as good as the source, then DC is going to make some serious coin.

Looking forward to Superman and Batman DTVs. The Green Lantern one will no doubt come out around the time as the movie.

Consider all three bought by me.

All about Year One...even though we kind of gotta it with Batman Begins. Still, with "Hood" and "Year One", Batman looks to dominate the animated films.

Very interesting in the new Green Lantern animated flick since I love First Flight so much.

It was revealed at the Comic-Con panel that Green Lantern: Emerald Knights will be an anthology with each segment featuring a different Green Lantern.

Comic Con Info:
- Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam is an exclusive, 22-minute short to be released on an upcoming compilation DVD/Blu-Ray.
- Jerry O'Connel is the voice of Shazam.(I'm presuming they meant Captain Marvel tho, not Wizard Shazam)

The thing that pisses me off about that is, buying it would basically be like spending the money for a 22 minute short and three other ones that I already have.

I believe the shorts in the dvd will be all new. It's like that they got a 22 minute Superman to attract the common folk, and then the other shorts are C/D-listers.

My understanding is that it's going to be a compilation of the previous shorts already released attached to the movies with Superman/Shazam as an exclusive to try to force the double dip. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear I'm not.

Oh dear. :*(

If it's all new shorts then I'd be so beyond happy. I wish they had just saved all the shorts for one DVD.

that's a disgrace if true.

if that's true I think I'll pass on that as I have all the dc animated movies on blu ray already.

There's a rumor that the compilation will have extended versions of the previous shorts, each with about five minutes more added to them. That would still smack of exploiting the fans though since it would beg the question of why they didn't release the shorts at 15-minute running times in the first place. If the compilation is all new shorts I'll be thrilled. If it has at least two or three new shorts together with the previous ones I'll be okay with it. If it has one new exclusive with the previous ones I'll be ticked.

From the Comic-Con Showcase panel:

Michael Jelenic wrote the Superman/Shazam short and James Garner voices the wizard Shazam.

Cool. O'Connell was great as Captain Marvel in JLU. I hope they get George Newbern for Superman. JLU reunion. :yay:

if they're new, I'm there, if not I wont bother, unless the superman/shazam feature was 45min to an 1 hour.

Yeah no answer whenever the collection was all new or not. Screw it if the Superman/Shazam is the only new short. >_>

Yeah, screw them if Shazam is the only new one. They cant con me into buying something that I already own like 75% of.

Garner is a legend. The casting for all these movies and shorts is amazing.

Out of the three the only one that has me excited is Batman: Year One so far .

Rather of seen The Killing Joke besides Year 1 but Year 1 is perfectly fine with me as well.

So I guess the release schedule would be like this...

-All-Star Superman: Late Feb/Early March
-Green Lantern: Emerald Knights: Early July to coincide with the film
-Batman Year One: Late September
