I don't know who the kids two kids are, but I must say holy crap! That is a great cast.

I don't know who the two kids are, but I must say holy crap! That is a great cast.

Ooooookay, I'd say a little background info is in order:

This pair of young thespian siblings have been making the rounds on movies and TV since 2006. Remy (13) has appeared on episodes of "Criminal Minds", "Las Vegas", "ER", and "House MD." Bella (12) has appeared on eps of "The OC" and "Entourage" and had recurring roles on "Dirty Sexy Money" and "My Own Worst Enemy". I first saw both of them when they played siblings on the pilot episode of Fox's summer show "Mental" (which might be cancelled already) and I have to say, the fact that they were siblings in real life was obvious right away.

Additionally, they have 2 older sisters who also act. I got a good feeling about these two. They're gonna be big.

I would rather duncan but he is a giant maybe instead Micheal Jai white (gambol in TDK/Spawn) who is a proven martial artist he was great in undisputed 2.

I also have this hankering for Morgan Freeman to play Jaagar he is the king of the fatherly advice scene and imo should only appear in the first half of the movie then should appear after only in flashbacks from the Thundercats and as an "obi wan" type ghost like in the toon.

What i want is for the characterisations to be spot on in a TC movie Lion O should be older in body (25 maybe) but still quite young in mind (around 17) at least in the first movie. Tigra should be the spiritual one,cheetarah feminine but strong in opinions and strentgh,panthro strong and an expert martial artist and engineer but wise as well and Wile kit and kat should be like little ninjas who are michevis teenagers with a good brother sister dynamic (they sometimes argue or disagree but you can see the love still there).

What about the costumes? maybe more covered up but with the mark of each individual big cat being part of the design? (E.G Panthro jet black maybe with slight white streaks to symbolise white claws?)

Agreed about Freeman. That would be inspired.

The costumes definitely need a lot of revising IMO. Aside from Panthro's awesome spiked harness, everyone's duds looked like swimsuits. They shouldn't be heavily armored since they're all cat-like, but they should have something with more texture and layers.

Anyway, I voted "Maybe", because, I love the Thundercats, make no mistake, but seeing how Dragonball turned out, I want to be as cautious as possible.

I am very weary for a Thundercats movie, because I am such a huge fan. Next to the Ninja Turtles the Thundercats was the biggest part of my childhood, and I really don't want to see it turn into what happened to Transformers or what G.I. Joe looks like. The jury is still out on G.I. Joe since it isn't out yet, but I really can't stomach Thundercats turning into some mindless movie like Transformers. I don't want to be told that I need to "turn my brain off" to enjoy something. Personally I'd rather the Thundercats stay in the 80s. I don't need any "updates" or reimaginings. I'm fine with the series being a great part of my childhood that I revisit every now and then for nostalgia purposes.

Nevertheless, I'm too big a fan to not see a Thundercats movie. I'll be there the first day it opens if it materializes. Even if it looks like Dragonball: Evolution I'll be there. I've seen way too much not to go see this. It's hard to just miss out on a movie if I was a fan. It's like Halloween for me. Even though I hated Rob Zombie and remakes with a passion, I still had to rent the movie. For Thundercats I'll be there no matter what.

Oh yeah I loved that. I would love seeing something like that. Like I said, I'm a huge fan so I would go see it. I just really hope for a good showing.

I agree with what happend with Transformers why do they insist on changing simple things like the look of them in all these modern remakes? its like they just said "keep prime looking like the toon but bugger the rest,do what you want with them".

I think Jazz and bumblebees look are just as iconic as primes and they made a real mess of them.

But despite Transformers being a bit meh no one can deny TMNT the movie wasnt a great flick and i personally LOVED Masters of the universe so it can be done right unfortunately this spot on type of movie adaptions are very rare.
