Fantastic Four 2

Current mood: anxious
Category: Friends

Well just got to Vancouver. It's going down! This film's gonna definitely be bigger than the last. Some serious surprises coming. (Is that how you spell surprise. That first "r" always gets me) Got some **** for the fan boys and still keep the light hearted feel for the kids and families. Hard mix. A lot of people don't get that, but whadayagonnado?!

First blog. They'll get better. Just trying out this thing.

I know there are people out using myspace to pose as famous people. Most recently John Powell, so....

Seems real to me, certainly moreso than John's.

Yup, it is him. Just got it confirmed.

 Wow, thanks for getting that confirmed so fast Matt:up:

I think this awfully cool. Maybe he'll do a q&a type thing like Jon Favreu?:)

I didn't expect to get it confirmed so fast lol Not sure about Q&A's, if he's in Vancouver already then I expect he is gonna have a pretty busy schedule.

Yeah, i guess so. But if he could fill us in every now and then that would be amazing. It doesn't have to be major or anything.

Well I just actually read his blog and he does say that he will post more stuff so we will just have to keep an eye out. :)

If he is in Vancover, then somethings getting ready to start. I still say they will begin before Aug. 15th. :)

It may be a "surrogate" also. I bet you guys don't know that Rupert Murdoch's company owns Myspace... and Murdoch also owns Fox Media. So it behooves Fox to promote their product there. The first time I noticed that was that they gave a Myspace account to a user called The Carver... and it linked back to Fox's official Nip/Tuck website. They would actually post clues about the identity of the Carver before the Nip Tuck season finale. One of the show's writers later owned up to being the one that wrote the Carver's blogs. BTW, Julian McMahon has one also but I think that is studio supported also. I doubt he really uses it.

That's not to say that the news coming from the blog will be bogus. It may just be coming from a studio plant.

I agree. Story has more important things to worry about right now. Having a blog is the farthest thing from his mind. He's got what may be the biggest film of 07 to direct.

Good point, but I think it should be cool to get some info either from him or an assistant. I don't really care who's writing it as long as the info is legit.

BINGO! Don't believe for a second that that is actually Tim Story......I have a feeling they are going to keep him away from the internet fan boys just like they did the first time......*shakes head*.....

Who do you actually talk to to confirm something like this?

BTW, very cool info....hope its true and we get some more tidbits....should be fun to see what comes up true, and what doesn't...

Does this sound like a man who can handle Galactus and the Siver Surfer? Story please don't try and surprise us fans with anything, because if the surprises are anything like trask in x3 we can do without any. Just get FOX to make a good movie and give us a better Doom. Leave BOTH GALACTUS AND THE SILVER SURFER IN THE COMICS because both you and Fox will screw them both up majorly.

I don't really see the point of him doing so since this man is just there to shoot the film. He has very little say in the direction this film is going to go.

Just e-mailed him. Since this is brand new news I imagine he might return a few e-mails in the beginning. Wishing him luck. Please no Tim Story bashing. HE's got the job and he's direting it so accept it and let's give him some productive feedback here and on his myspace site. I think the script is gonna be a blast and he's good enough to make it work.

still keep the light hearted feel for the kids and families

This is the biggest thing to make me happy about this movie. This is why I liked the first movie so much. It was the first movie in a long time, I felt comfortable taking my kids to, and they loved it.

I know the fanboys don't go for that stuff, they want all darkness and Sin City crap.

For me there's enough of that out there. The only Marvel films that have been made, that I've felt comfortable taking my kids to, are the Spider-man films and Fantastic Four.
