I really think "Fantastic Four: Doomsday" is very appropriate.

It could carry multiple meanings for the viewers.

Having a numeral after your film's title inevitably leads to the kind of ragging the Star Trek movies started getting after IV. In the comedian's handbook, it's on the same page as the Rolling Stones taking the stage using their walkers.

We usually just ask for the tickets, which means I would ask simply for Fantastic Four.

Thats what I do for most sequels unless the title is completely different....I didn't ask for the full POTC 2 title....I asked for Pirates 2 movie.

And these days you have sooooooooo many that simply order them online and pic up their tickets from the ticket machine, they don't ask anyone for it.

I think these days you want something simple (not because the audience is simple minded ) but simply something that they remember and tells you what the movie is about. The movie is a sequel to the first movie. Fantastic Four II does that...when they go to get their tickets, they'll ask for the Fantastic Four movie...get their tickets and not think anymore about it.

Regardless, people are still going to call it FF 2. Like they call Last Stand X-Men 3, Garfield Tail of Kitties Garfield 2, etc. People always call a sequel part II.

I think Doomsday works but if this movie intends on introducing Galactus at the end it may be more appropriate to call the next movie Doomsday and this on something else. I've hear the Arrival, and the herald, and a few others. But the truth is their gonna name it what they want to name it. It's cool that he's asking for suggestions, however I believe that in the end, whatever they chose is going to stick.

I like Wrath of Khan, euh, I mean, Wrath of Doom.

If Story is really serious about being forgive for Doom's atrocious treatment in the first movie, he'll name the movie after Doom himself. At least.

Oh, and I hope Doom kicks both Galactus and the surfer's ass in this and the next sequel. Nothing less will make me forgive fox and Story.

It's a tough call, really.

While I really like Doomsday as the subtitle, it won't have the right impact if Doom isn't portrayed as the major adversary of the film.

If it were a pair of movies centered around Doom, I would go with:

FF: Impending Doom
FF: Doomsday
