TMOS Review & Speculation Thread

We're hearing very positive thoughts on Man Of Steel from our fellow webmasters that saw it early including a "Best Superhero Movie I Have Ever Seen."

That's awesome! Any word on Cavill and his performance? That's really one of the things I want to know most about because it's the only thing I'm not entirely confident in that it will be as good as everything else seems to be.

Seems like a legit review to me. It's not like he hasn't reviewed other movies before. People that put up fake reviews don't do it in this detail. He even reviewed Immortals and disliked Cavill. However he thinks Man of Steel is solid.

Even IF he were telling the truth, the fact that he gave Green Lantern such an high review automatically discredits him for me in terms of opinion since I find that film to be beyond redemption at times.

Hey, be happy! This same reviewer gave Superman Returns a 3.5 out of a score of "10" in 2006, and gave MOS an 8 out of 10 in 2013!!!

Green Lantern was given a 7.5... So what is your problem??? Maybe he enjoyed GL more then the rest of us? Who knows?

But for this guy to give an 8 out of 10 for a Sups movie (MOS), while the last Sups movie scored just a 3.5 for him, speaks volumes!!!! It really does! :)

Just shows what a great film MOS will be for us IMO. :)

Stop looking too deep into things, really, it's not that serious.

So MOS gets an 8-10, while SR gets a 3.5, and all you have to say to me is that goofy Spoof of "REALLY"???

Explain yourself before you go off trina look cool with your goofy giffs!

Anyways folks, I hope that we get some more twitter reactions tomorrow, or just soon from now.

Question, are we all planning on giving our own reviews here or should we make a new thread for our own?

Obviously new thread for SHH! member reviews of the movie. Great Idea!

Start'er UP! :cwink:

Jeebus Christ, soooo many .gifs =/ Lord help you if you're on a 3G network...

We are literally a week or so away from the official critic reviews of MOS. Before the reviews start piling in, why don't we all take our best guess/prediction on what the "Tomatometer" will read once all the reviews are in AND COUNTED! :)

ME: 88% based on 264 critics reviews!

My thoughts: WE ARE IN, NOT ONLY FOR A RIDE, BUT AN EMOTIONAL ADVENTURE ASWELL!

Critics say: One of the BEST SuperHero movie's of our time, A MUST SEE!!!

YOUR NUMBER AND THOUGHTS/OPINIONS on what the final "Tomatometer" will read, as well as critic response?! :D

LETS HEAR EM!!!

There was a screening last night...somewhere. Someone I know who's legit went to it. They can't talk about it publicly, but says there was "big muscle and big action." And that it will assault your ears. :funny:

They invited PMs if we wanted to know more, so I messaged them and asked if it was well-made and if they liked it. :oldrazz: They're probably asleep now, but hopefully first thing tomorrow....

86%-88%, all the best films are in the 80's anyway.

Your friend sounds like a major tease. But you know what?

I like that.

:lmao: I don't think Nolan knows how to make a genuinely bad film. He's too good of a writer. As for Snyder, he's an artist, and I think he'll do Superman more justice than even Nolan would have in the director's seat.

Seriously, EVERY movie Nolan wrote has gotten over 70% on RT. EVERY.
Its cool but kind of creepy at the same time. :funny:

Considering his lowest rated film on RT is my favourite, it kinda shows me how full of crap RT can be generally.

What film was it?

20 something% probably didn't understand his genius.

The Prestige!...I love that film! As much as I like Nolan's foray into superhero territory, his original stuff is always better (Prestige was largely changed from the novel, and noted by the author himself as an improvement)
