If you had lukewarm feelings about the film after first viewing, see it again and you would appreciate it...

Ive seen it twice ( 1 uncut and 1 cut) and im seeing the cut version again early next week and binging a mate

Awesome film (uncut was much better)

I bought this on bootleg, and could watch it 50 times in a row if i wanted, and i've no desire to see it again.

I might just sell it....

I said it before - Fox aren't getting another dime of my money even if flying pigs carry the GG bridge in a second viewing.

I saw it twice.

X3 is a very good movie and a very crowd pleaser.

But there's something missing compared to the last 2 but I just can't put my finger on it.

but you're still on this forum?

The second viewing was so much better for me

I don't need to see a film I evaluated while watching again, to determine it sucked.

This is easily explained... once you get past the awful pacing everyone seems to be talking about, you remember enough of the story to keep up this time since you saw it already. A bit of bad reviews turning to positive after 2nd time looks like clear evidence the biggest culprit is the awful pacing i feel.

I havent even seen the film and i know this.

I saw it again today so i could catch the extra scene after the credits.

I think I might like it less.

Its a whole bunch of reallly cool scenes that add up to a bad movie.

The action/special effects were good, but the story wasn't. That ruined it for me, and I even knew what was supposed to happen beforehand. I had hoped that it would still turn out ok. :(

Press screening had 20 min more footage on it

cool - what were in those 20 mins??? since you saw both versions, please share... and you can't view the uncut version i guess again for screening purposes only

One thing I wanna know.

Where were the prisoners of Alcatraz? The lawbreakers and bad guys and all. When did it become a Lab?

Didn't Mr. Worthington buy it and turn it into a lab? I don't think, in this version, that there were supposed to be prisoners (aside from test subjects and the like).

I loved it. Annoying that everyone who hated it mentions they hated in every post. "I hated it but the scene where Jean was sitting there, what happened there?" "I hated it but the chess piece, did it move?" Oh well, do as you will.

The scene from the trailer "She may not come home" etc was gone

The only way I'll watch it again is if somebody else pays.

Alcatraz hasn't been a prison in forever.

I am so stoked to see this for myself. I liked the last two, I am a HUGE xmen fan for life, so I am sure I will like it. I go into movies with one part of my mind acting like an exciting movie fan, and the other is as a comic fan. I should be able to find balance somewhere in between there.

The movie is just another type of offshoot of the comics. Comics can be in multiple flavors.

Also, I hated Spider-man and Spider-man 2 when I saw them in the theatre, now I love them and think they rock.

Go into the movie not listening to what others have to say. We humans tend to "roll over on command" with certain things in life, so keep you mind in check. :p Ok done.
