Mattel announced a 6inch scale Ecto 1 for their Ghostbusters line. It's up for Preorder at $265 with two figures(Peter and Ray)...

Someone NEEDS to talk me out of this.

That seems a little pricey... will it go up or down in price eventually?

It'll only go up. The preorder is to see if people are interested enough to get it made. If it gets made there's probably going to be like 50 - 100 extra made and they'll be more expensive than the preorder price.

I'd get it now if I had the money... it sounds awesome.

It's not out until next year...

Which does give me time to save up. But there's supposed to be 4 Doctor Who figures out next year, and at £140 - £160 each I'll need money for those...

I love Doctor Who... but I can't afford the figures :(

I don't get figures, they might be fun to play with a while, then it gets boring
And I don't like to shelf figures

This 12inch figures are glorious. Well, the Matt Smith one is, and the Tenant and Tom ones look amazing.

Since we are making sweeping generalizations I'd like to say that I'm American and not British as I'm a huge Doctor Who fan I'm also not a hillbilly just because I'm in Texas.

:wow::wow::wow:

I'm watching the first Star Trek movie for the first time in a while, and I like it
Going to watch the 2003 Hulk movie next since last month marked the 10th anniversary of its release
Will continue my Star trek Marathon later
Won't watch the 2009 movie before the home release of "Into Darkness"

Do you mean Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) ? The rest of the sequels especially Wrath of Khan, Voyage Home, & the Undiscovered Country are awesome.

There's no way Hulk is 10 years old...
The movie premiered in June 2003

Yep, I mean that first movie
I will watch the Next Generation movies as well, won't stop with Undiscovered Country
Skipping the 5th movie though, don't want to watch it for reasons I'll keep for myself

Is it because the plot deals with a supposed deity?

Just chillin & watching TV, pondering what to do next.
