Just thought I'd share it:
This has been a crummy month; solely in the realm of finances, a lot of unexpected issues and expences surfaced, and I'd been left standing pennyless and wondering how in the world I would finish out the month, what with rent, food, student loans, and all other bills. I'd been trying frantically to do what i could to make up for lost wages (extra freelance work, trying to get a 2nd job...) but nothing was really biting. In a last ditch effort to make some money, I accepted one horrible fact: I would have to sell my most prized possession:

Its a discontinued model, so one would figure I could get quite a bit for it (especially considering its expense as hell to begin with). Well, I finally found a buyer, and with a nauseous stomach (it feels like I'm selling a girlfriend to some one), I've been waiting for the "drop off" day (this friday).
Well, today, I check my back account (its payday for me) to see a truly wonderful thing: not only did I get paid, but I also got a bonus that my company months ago said we'd most likely not be getting. With that bonus, not only have I recovered all lost wages of this month, but I am also left with a little extra. I DON'T have to sell the guitar, the only possession I truly care about! The very first thing I did (aside from scaring my coworkers with a joyous "WOOP!") was call the guy and, expressing my apologies, say the deal was off (he understood). I can't wait to get home to play that guitar, knowing it is mine forever.
After a horrible month, its starting to look a LOT better.
SO, seeing how there's so much negativity these days (and I'm in an AWESOME mood right now), I thought it'd be cool to hear some of YOUR best days ever. Lets try and keep this going, shall we?
