After the recent success of Fire Emblem on 3DS, and the plethora of Fire Emblem characters in Smash Bros., it's easy to forget that the franchise nearly never came to America.

Sigh, I guess it's a losing battle to ask you not to bump things for useless **** like this, isn't it? I thought maybe there was real news :(

I'm making it easier to find. some certain words seem to be over used & when it comes time to find a thread like this it's hard to find cause other posters have made other threads or use the word fire or Emblem and you just want to this specific thread. but it's been swallowed up making search useless.

I know it drives you nuts but some times there a purpose or two, even if you don't care for the reason's. and there some people that don't know about this stuff. Alot people didn't know Fire Emblem series was in danger at one point in time.

I don't know what you mean? Put it in the Gaming Lounge, or the Wii U thread, or the 3DS thread. Everyone who posts on the Nintendo board will see it any of those places.

That's for industry stuff ,mostly & I already put what was needed there for today but seeing it was Nintendo thing it'll be looked over or trashed cause it's Nintendo the lugi's mansion arcade game article which capcom is involved with is better of in the Wii U thread.

Then put it in one of the other two threads I mentioned.

I mean, I know I shouldn't get annoyed by it, but I just don't really understand why you bump threads for these things. I mean, honestly, this game probably doesn't even need a thread and could be discussed in the Wii U thread.

I explained my self can't do any more then that. in case search can't find it among the words Shin Megami or Fire Emblem cause other's have used the words fire etc .

search doesn't always work.

I'll start putting a warning before had though when it's slightly off topic but still related in a way

What the hell is this game?

It's a crossover of some sort between SMT and FE. Looks like it features some FE characters amongst a modern day setting. Not sure which one it'll take gameplay cues from, though. Both maybe.

BTW the ace attorney video screw up was from the article maker as soon as I came back here & said crap I others told the article maker there was a screw up / it was the wrong video . So he switched it up. Sorry about that I'll try to catch earlier let them know before hand .

Yeah I had the mute the trailer because of the Japanese music. I'm not sure what to make of this game other than it's very Japanese.

In addition to revealing a trailer for Shin Megami X Fire Emblem or Illusionary Revelations#FE as it is called in Japan, Nintendo announced some of the development staff behind the Wii U game.

Shinjiro Takada, producer of the Devil Survivor series, is the producer behind Illusionary Revelations#FE. The game is being developed internally at Atlus with the theme of modern Japan with characters that grow from various concerns and troubles in a RPG. While the game takes place in the real world there is a secret fantasy world that exists in parallel with characters from the Fire Emblem series.

How Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem Got Its Persona-Like Style. April 2, 2015 . 6:35am

Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem producer Shinjiro Takada talks about how Atlus and Nintendo settled on the game’s visual style.
During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct presentation, we learned that Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem is still alive, and even got a look at its first trailer. Devil Survivor series producer Shinjiro Takada, who is also the producer behind Illusory Revelations #FE (the game’s Japanese title), shared more on the newly-erected official blog.

Here’s what Takada said:

It’s been two years since the first report. We’ve kept you waiting a long time, but how did you like the trailer?
Since it’s a collaboration title with Fire Emblem, I believe there are many of you that saw something different from what was expected.
Personally speaking, I really worried a lot about just how much Fire Emblem should be incorporated into the game, and we spent a lot of time carefully discussing this with Nintendo.

However, after getting together with everyone we arrived at the conclusion of: “if the development of this title conforms with the original [series], then Intelligent Systems should handle it. If Atlus are going to develop it, then it would be best to make it into the kind of title that Atlus specializes in.” And so, the direction [of the game] was decided upon.

As a result, “a stage set in a modern Japan, an RPG that tells the story of realistic characters growing through various concerns and troubles” became the basis of Illusory Revelations #FE. Interlaced with the essence of Fire Emblem, we decided on the goal of making this a title that goes beyond your average collaboration.

We still have a lot of work that needs to be done beyond what you saw in the trailer, but were you able to get a good idea of the game’s atmosphere from it?
The essence of Fire Emblem may have been a little difficult to notice, but please wait for further news on that front.

Again, we’ve requested toi8 to do the character designs that will become the face of this title. Using refreshing coloration and a touch of pop, we’re having him draw Illusionary Revelations #FE’s unique world setting to have a feeling of both friendliness and splendor.

The trailer highlighted four characters, but there are other wonderful characters (some that briefly appeared during the trailer) that we’ve prepared for the game as well.

Moreover, we’re getting the help from other renowned developers for Illusory Revelations #FE. Since this is the first part of the developer’s blog, I ended up being the first to bat, but for our next post, we plan to have comments from the other developers and staff members of Atlus, so please look forward to it.

Well, now that the development has reached its climax, we, the staff, will unify and work hard toward increasing the quality of the game so we can deliver something that you all will get to further enjoy.
The release is this winter, so it’ll be a little longer, but please look forward to it.

As Takeda says, the game will be released in Japan this Winter. In the West, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem doesn’t have a release date yet.
