That would maybe be one of the biggest selling points of the movie. I guess maybe some more innovative camera work during the race scenes because you know Cruise is gonna be driving that car himself. I never saw the original movie, did he do his own driving or was it more like Top Gun where Cruise wasn't a big enough name to afford some top notch insurance for the production?

See, I wasn’t exactly asking for this, but I think it’s a situation where Cruise could conceivably keep up his action filmmaking despite his age.

Sure, making him run at 60 mph and climb mountains is a stretch as he gets deeper into his sixties, but driving fast? Do-able.

Oh man I loved this movie as a kid and yeah, thinking about it I would absolutely go and see a modern sequel.
