Tom Hardy reveals why he left Suicide Squad

Tom, stop trying to make alley happen; it's not going to happen.

Well, its better than '****ing alley', whatever the hell that means. I mean, I'm English and I don't have a clue what that is - please folks, don't think that is a common phrase over here.

I'm English and have never heard of Alley either.

Your never going to have a successful rap career Tom Hardy so stop dropping obscure slang into conversations :argh::o

"This movie will be alley."
Does that make the article we just read alley?

This thread is streets ahead.

i hope they eventually find a role for Hardy in the current DCU.

Tom Hardy rarely makes sense when he speaks. But he sounds like he was really excited about Suicide Squad, it's a shame he couldn't do it.

Has Eh Maybe ever had a legitimate scoop outside of Heath Ledger's casting as the Joker? I feel like his entire reputation as a source is based on that and a few other bits related to TDK. Ever since then he's being wrong about everything.

Are the people here from England from the same area as Hardy? I only ask because as an American living in LA, I use Chicago (my hometown) slang all the time and no one here has ever heard of it.

I know it's a random topic to wonder about, but vernacular is just interesting to me.

Treason!

Tom Hardy Would Like to Play The Punisher*

Not only he's not in Suicide Squad, he would like to play character from Marvel property now.

I want him in DCCU so much. He's guy for grim-n-gritty style, not Marvel shiny plotless flicks...

Let's be honest, in this thread we have the power to make ****ing alley happen.

You know who is ****ing alley?

Kirstie ****ing Alley, that's who.

He would basically be reprising his Mad Max role as Frank Castle.

Eh, not necessarily. True, Max and Frank both have a similar origin in that their families were murdered. But what he does with it could be completely different. In fact, I think he'd probably make SURE his Frank Castle feels like a wholly different character than his Max. And Frank is a bit more methodical; he's more of a machine. He's a man on a mission, with a purpose. Max just kinda wants nothing to do with anyone but keeps getting thrown into the middle of conflicts.

They're both silent types who kind of sulk around all day but can kick your ass if they want. That's what I was getting at. Obviously his performance would be more nuanced than that.

I can't imagine anyone other than Thomas Jane as Punisher. Just like Henry as Superman and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine - they're perfect for those roles.

Shame Jane was in a shi**y Punisher movie though. Thinking about it, you know who would be perfect as the Punisher? Frank Grillo. But he's now Crossbones, which is almost as good.

The Punisher didn't reach its fullest potential but it's got some kick-ass action scenes. Plus, John Travolta!
