Only read the red portions... well looks like the Fury cameo got cut... all in all it sounds decent... I guess expectations were probably too high to begin with since the pressure is now squarely on Marvel to make a good film. Something on par with X-Men or a notch slightly below Spiderman is good enough for me though.

Well, I think people have to keep in mind that Iron Man is a strong character, but he´s not Spider-Man or Batman or X-Men. Don´t come expecting the greatest superhero movie ever made and you´re less likely to be disappointed.

Now this review is the type of review i wanted to hear, good character moments married with some good action. This is the type of movie i wanted.

I think Faverau gas one ace left up his sleeve though. I think the cameos will be in the final cut of the movie. Jon is too much of a crowd pleaser to disappoint millions of Marvel fans.

This reminded me a bit of that Cowboy Critic site that ran for a while, that ran pretty tongue-in-cheek reviews.

Haha, good point. The same with Superman Returns. I remember one really early review that said SR was on par with The Godfather as one of the greatest films of all time.

It's great to see good reviews for Iron Man, because it is produced by Marvel and you cannot point to studio interference *cough*Fox*cough* if the movie bombs. I'm really looking forward to this movie.

The only thing I dont like is that we've seen most of the cool action sequences during the trailers.

It seems that every g-damn superhero movie does this nowadays and it DRIVES me nuts!

Nice to hear that Jeff Bridges delivers and that his character is fully fleshed out. That more than makes up the fact that Iron Monger won't come in until the very end.

If you think of this as the first of @ least 2 films. The Intro film is usually the most remedial and then the fans get more of there movie the second time around. There are exceptioins and this hopefully we one of them.
