Who do you guys think are the hardest characters to cast , make costume for, provide the right special effects for?
5. Venom - There are so many intricacies that have to be just right to bring this villain to life in a motion picture, I just don't see it happening. The tongue, the build, the tentacles, and most importantly the inner struggle. I know that personally, everytime a good artist drew Venom, he was always the first and last thing I looked at on a page. I've always been skeptical about a real life Venom but if they pull something off similar to Dr. Manhatten... my skepticism might be misplaced
4. Magneto- a handsome man with a build that rivals cyclops but is long past his prime and looks good in a purple spandex suit with an iron helmet on his head. We all love Ian Mckellen's Magneto (me included), but I don't think I am alone in wanting a more physical presence from the master of magnetism. Someone who you never want to cross.
3. Captain America- This iconic figure is not only one of the most popular characters known to comic books, but he also represents an almost unrealistic ideal of justice and non-violence. The portrayal of his infamous die-hard attitude would have to be perfect, not to mention the bodybuilder muscles and the skillful use of just a shield as a weapon against merciless villains.
2. Spider-Woman- The flying, the fighting skills, the hair, and, god, the body. Many females can look good in the suit, but few (if any) can pull it off, leaving audiences with their jaws dropped as Spider-woman in action should.
1. She-Hulk - a large athletic woman that is attractive and can act? Fahgeddaboutit. Also, if they went the CGI route, the She-Hulk form would be pretty much the first time they did a female in full CGI. Hulk is one thing (he is not too far from being a huge green monster), but She-Hulk is still a sexy creature green. Sexy CGI? Is that even possible.
I, by no means, think these characters would only work in movies if they were carbon copies of their comic book counterparts but I think the imagining of these characters in real life form would be more difficult than others. What do you guys think?
