You know, I've never seen Top Gun in its entirety in one sitting. I've caught both halves of it on TV, but never all at once. I might actually check this out. But the downside is having to sit through that awful volleyball scene in 3D.

Never really cared for it in 2D. I don't think an added dimension is going to change that:woot:

This movie is terrible. I hope this bombs harder than Goose slamming into that air canopy.

Let's see the movie came out in 1986, that doesn't make sense to release it on a 27th anniversary even if it is in 3D. Don't really know how I'll take those sweaty volleyball scenes so up in my face.

I love Top Gun. I wish they were making a sequel , but it's very doubtful now.

Just saw this in IMAX. Incredible.

The aerial photography is second to none.

Hope it makes a killing on Blu-ray sells. It'll really upset today's "action" fans who love vampires and hobbits.

I agree. It's one of my least favorite films by Tony Scott.

I wasn't questioning that. It was about that hobbit comment you made.

Vampires are fair game since Twilight ruined them anyway. Point is, you called The Hobbit an action film when it isn't an action film. And why would Top Gun being a big seller on Blu-ray piss off fans of those franchises in any way?

I really havent seen Top Gun in 3D nor did I see the actual 2D version of the film. Top Gun looks awesome and it defined a genre in action movies
