well right now we're fully staffed at bartenders but I have enough connections that i'm sure I could find you a job bartending or barbacking (you can make good money there too)....

This wouldn't be for a little while anyway. What the heck is barbacking?

they help bartenders out by getting them ice, beer from the coolers.. cutting fruit...

they get a shift pay and get tipped out by the bartenders at the end of the night.. depending on how much... it can be 20-30% of the tip... you figure a bartender can make 800 on a good night... not a bad nights work.

actually embarassing you helps me out.... I tell my customers stories of "some guy" in love with Jessica Alba. Keeps my customers amused and my tip jar full.

yeah I did... but to be honest... all you have to do is get a bartending book at Barnes & Noble.. study drinks and then lie on your resume...

the real trick about getting a bar job is either having connetions or finding the right place at the right time... luck plays a huge part.
