Topher Grace at MTV Movie Awards

Kirsten Dunce deserves everything she gets.

i was pretty disapointed by the sketches, and that one was really really unfunny, enjoyed topher tho, i think he is gonna nail brock, im looking forwardto his intensity

I always thought Topher was good on That 70s Show, but after he was cast as Venom (is it even officially confirmed? lol) I was like.."Woah! No f***in way! S-M3 is gonna suck!" But now, after seeing various pics and seeing the MTV Awards sequence, I'm actually positive he can be a good Eddie Brock, so we'll see May 4th, 2007.

The skit wasn't very funny, but Topher did well imo. He looked kind of like Eminem.

I have no doubt in my mind Topher will be excellent as Eddie Brock in Spider-man 3... For all those who doubt it? There's mastercard...:spidey:

As for the mtv skit, funny stuff... Especially the end rofl.

And this is a good thing??

Devon Sawa looked like Eminem, but he nailed Final Destination... So there you have it?

Even though it is a comedy skit, he does have that sense of intimidation at the beginning, before it gets to where he's counting in the hundreds.
I think he will play a great Venom/Eddie, and it seems like his acting has stepped up a little, even though this is a skit.

That guy looks nothing like Eminem.

But thankfully, Grace doesn't either.

Yeah, it was hard to watch that clip. I mean, it was funny and fun to watch but I was sitting there looking at a villain I couldn't take seriously since it was a comedic clip.

That said, he did a great job and there were parts that made me think, yup, he's good. Not to mention a good actor.

It helped though to remember, Phillip Seymore Hoffman's acting in the same scene wasn't all too convincing either. But that was because I knew Hunt would find a way out. (Until it looked like he didn't....)

"...ELEVEN!" :P

It's a comedic clip, but some parts of it, were intimidating...

"You think I'm playing!!!"

*makes sure Topher isn't hiding in the closet*

I can sleep safely now...

Hahaha... Topher is great. He plays comedy real well, but he can be just as serious, maniacal, deceptive and evil as he wants to be.

People on these boards completely underestimate him, because they only know him as skinny little Eric Forman from That 70's Show, many of those episodes dating from a few years back. He's absolutely terrific in Traffic and even Win a Date with Tad Hamilton (which I just so happened to enjoy!) Most recently he did In Good Company, which if you haven't seen you should, because you'd understand how charismatic of a young actor he really is.

Trust me people. Brock is in good hands.

As soon as Topher was cast, i started to watch That 70's Show. I thought i would never like that show, but it has become my FAV show on TV right now, and i think Topher Grace is the best actor on that show, by far. I never felt that he couldnt pull off this part, and those few sec's of intensity in that clip havent proven me wrong. I cant wait to see him in this role.

PS: that clip was funny as hell.

damn I didnt have sound on, and that was pretty good....prove me wrong sony, please prove me wrong.

that was more annoying than funny....and i didnt think he too convincing as a villian

this statement was mean?! if this is what u consider mean u really need to get out more

i'm just glad ashton kutcher wasn't cast as eddie brock....thats for those who use topher's 'that 70's show' as an example....

:O I dunno guys, he kinda seemed like a weenie in the MTV movie awards, sure he was joking around, but he was pretty Jimmy Fallon lame in that short. I still have faith in Topher, I think he has potential to be a great Eddie Brock/Venom.
