How Do You Rate the Trailer?

HEY GUYS, I'M A HUGE BATMAN FAN, I LOVED BB AND THIS ONE LOOKS TEH AWESOME!!!:eek::up: I HAVEN'T BEEN AROUND MUCH HERE FOR A FEW REASONS, 1) BATFANS ON THESE BOARDS SCARE ME LOL,:oldrazz::D AND 2) I DIDN'T WANT TO SPOIL TOO MUCH OF THE FILM!!!:o NOW AFTER HAVING SPENT SOME TIME WITH IRON MAN AND TIH, WHICH I LOVED, IT'S TIME TO GIVE TDK SOME LOVE!!!:D:up:

Im thinking the
batman saying: "I have one rule"
and the jokers saying "tonight your gonna break your one rule" line are far apart from each other (like cut from 1scene to another like the "im counting on it") hopefully not in the same conversation. If it is
I dont want to have to say this but its very poor writing skils
the repition in the lines is not only corny but its not up to standard dialect, if it is in the exact same conversation and one response to another they should have reworded the "one rule" with something else.
Im pretty sure theres going to be at least a minute of dialogue between the response and the reply if not in two different scenes, at least Im hoping.

When making a film, there are several takes, that also include several different deliveries of the lines. Most of the stuff you see in trailers/tv spots are discarded material; it's all the stuff not used in the film. So what you see in the film will be the same content, but presented differently.
 
Did anyone have problems with the semi crashing into the ceiling? Who would think up something like that?-It's so unreal...and fake. Why not just do something you can do for real?- Like knock it over or something??? Why crash it in the ceiling using CGI? And would a truck crash into the ceiling in real life?-NO! It would just scrape the top! What happened to Nolan's realism? Hopefully that doesn't make it into the film!

Yeah, it's 'Batman Dead' This is probably right after they find the fake dead batman hanging from the flag pole.

It might be the way its cut, but that particular trailer gives the impression that Batman deliberately swerves the The Tumbler into the path of the Joker's truck. Given that The Tumbler is armoured, and wedge shaped, I don't think it's beyond the realm of physics that the resulting collision would force the cab of the truck over The Tumbler, like driving up a ramp, and into the overpass above. Course, The Tumbler is gonna be totaled!

And it also suggests that the Joker has a penchant for trucks. The truck in the latest TV spot and the one from the full trailer that 'flips' in a separate scene appear to be two separate trucks.

^ You can never trust tv-spots/trailers etc... they're aaalways edited together in the weirdest way, and nothing ever quite plays out as you thought when seen in it's entirely... these tv-spots nor the dialoque within them doesn't worry me one bit... they're ****ing badass, as will this movie be!

what causes it to flip?
is it a bomb?
if its a bomb or a bursted pipe right underneath, Im sure it wouldnt flip over but I can buy that it would flip over on screen.

but
the truck into the roof is alot harder to believe, and Im pretty sure is gonna be in the movie I hope not but more or less it should be I dont think they would waste a stunt or effect like that but hopefully Im wrong.
In a small way it is possible its not that hard to belive but yeah I agree it should be cut.
 
I have to admit that the "semi on roof" scene looks a bit fake. Too many sparks, and that piece of the ceiling that flies towards the camera cheapens it even more.

And i really dont know how Batman decided to do something like that. It not only makes little sense, but i dont think that the tumbler would survive this stunt.

We ll see...
 
is it possible that he stops underneath it?:huh:
or maybe the tvspot is edited poorly
and the truck is slowly falling down and we just dont see it:huh:
 
If it makes any difference it's actually a garbage truck he crashes into, not the semi.
