You could try it 100 times, i got your point the first time you said it. What you don't seem to be getting is the fact that i don't have to agree with it.

Yes, i've said it myself numerous times on these boards; i don't think they'd hire Weaving unless Megatron will get a good amount of dialogue. Waste of time; waste of money; waste of talent. But i find it very hard to believe that the dialogue for Megatron is sssssooo vastly different from the script considering he doesn't appear until the last 1/4 of the film, and it's admist the massive chase scene ending with downtown finale.

All i'm saying is for the fans to be skeptical. We've heard promises before. To take everything that comes out of Bay's mouth, especially in the childish manner on which he ranted in his 'alleged' last statement, would be being very naive.

But you are failing to see that he NEVER claimed it was VASTLY different. He said there were minor tweeks made.

I think the main thing is how Bay has constantly thrown it out there in anger like it was a whole different beast. How many times did he say; "They read some old ass script on the net! NO! I had the real script on my own personal computer, that crap on the net is SO old!! It was written AGES ago. I have the real deal on my computer. Bow to my hair!"

Then EVERYTHING in the teasers can be pointed to in the old script, almost perfectly. But yeah, recently Bay did say the basic layout was the same, but there would be slight changes. But hell, personally I think just some added bot dialogue could make a WORLD of difference. As I told hunter, they could add a few lines in English to Starscream of him whining about being in charge, or some such and it would make him a 100% different character than the thing that spoke only 2 subtitled lines in the leaked script.

I see all the d**kwad talk back people who claim they have read a finished script. Impossible - I kept the only draft for the last two months before shooting. That's where did major retooling to the script - yes the scene beats are similar but a very different script. We are still writing the robot voices.

MAJOR RE-TOOLING were his exact words. I would hardly call a few tweeks MAJOR. Personally, i can only take this quote from him with a grain of salt. This guy has been in the movie making game for years, he knows how the internet and fans are. He should just let his final product do the talking for him; but his un-professional comments lead me not to take ALL of his words seriously because, if he's low enough to call fans d**kwads, he's low enough to lie about certain things, including MAJOR RE-TOOLING of the script.

Interesting. The voice sounds familiar but, I don't think it's Victor Caroli. I would have loved to hear him narrate this movie. He had the perfect voice for the G1 cartoon.

In these tv-spots they make it seem like the good transformers has been here for the longest time!.... Like the car that the kid buys!... it's like it comes to life, but have been on earth for the past 10 years or something... what am I failing to understand?

They've been secretly among us, disguised as vechiles, looking for their leader Megatron, who's been captured by the military/governement for about 100 years, and is being kept cryogentically frozen. Megatron came to earth prior because their life force 'The Allspark' was discovered to have ended up on earth, and he got frozen in the artic while searching for it.

The meteors you see in the trailer, is the arrival of the Autobots. They have been signalled by Bumblebee (the yellow car-who was protecting the boy, and who has also been on earth for a while) because he has located their precious life force, The Allspark.
