I like Hound's look, and if we get a G1 Optimus I'll be ecstatic. I never minded the updated looks, but anything that nostalgic tugs on the old heart strings. I do wish
Galvatron
was something other than the other truck though. I'd have much rather he be Ultra Magnus or even Nemesis Prime.

Looks like they've moved the trailer release an hour earlier...

While I love him as a character and hope we see him as bad guy some were down the line, I doubt they were going to use traitor Primes as the bad guys 3 movies in a row.

Bay has revealed the title sequence:
I can't believe how boring it looks. I hoped they would stick back to the transforming title sequences from the first 3 films. Also, disappointed from the two character posters that include no robots, yet the film is called "Transformers". After 3 failed attempts, Bay will mess this one up as well...

TBH, no matter what Bay does, people will whinge that he's ****ed it up somehow...

He could make a live action movie without any humans whatsoever and you'll see the same whiners that complained about humans being in the movies start complaining about the lack of humans in the movie...

I would not call the first Transformers a failure. No where near it.

That poster looks like the CD cover for some teenage country and western singers first album.

Just seen a post by Nelson on SFTE. Seems Yahoo have the exclusive airing rights to the trailer for an hour. Then it will be posted up on Bay's website and other places.

This film is a soft reboot for the franchise. A new title sequence makes sense.

Personally, I think the new title sequence is slick as hell.

There's also a reason for the human based posters: while I'm willing to bet Michael Bay would be perfectly fine with a giant robot movie, try selling that to a producer who saw Pacific Rim's numbers when they didn't try to promote anything besides "giant robot vs monster fight!" If I were a Hollywood executive, I'd try desperately to sell Wahlberg as another part of the reason to see the movie (which lets be honest, he will be) and then to at least make the audience intrigued for the other human characters, even if the intrigue begins and ends with "the new hot girl in Transformers!"

The TF Facebook page just teased an Optimus poster... No sign of it yet though

Anything on yet ? I thought the time was moved

ok why is Prime fighting Grimlock? Also why is Prime an old rusted piece of junk that is offline? looks cool.

looks like Prime may have to tame Grimlock before Prime can ride him

I like that it looks a lot more serious this go around. A bit of a melancholy vibe though knowing that the Autobots seem to be being run out of Earth.

I really hope this is as good as the first one.
